[IN]VISIBILIDADES URBANAS. ARTE, MEMÓRIAS, CIDADES
This article reflect on the mutations occurred in the context of public art and its current configurations, (MWON, 1997) through artistic practices carried out by collectives and artists in the city of São Paulo, with a focus on performances in the Center of the city - Vila Buarque, Luz and Bom Retiro, involved with the dimensions of collective memories and social imaginary. It is adopted as a time frame the research project around the TICPs - Territories of Interest in Culture and Landscape and their reverberations - "Between Territories: Art, Memories, City: mediated narratives", in process. The conception of art with which we operate in a relational perspective (BOURRIAUD, 2010 ) is located in the field of urban intervention with which public art, as we understand it today, articulates new aesthetic, spatial, temporal experiences, in which the art object it puts itself in a situation, together with the observer/actor, facing the practice of the place, according to its specificities, giving it a critical view, social significance, political perception and historical sense (RANCIÈRE, 2010).
