One Political Crisis After Another

Covers the expenses scandal surrounding the British Labor Party and the subsequent votes lost, which were extensive and often unprecedented all over the UK as well as in EU elections. Added to this is the great disapproval that PM Gordon Brown has experienced since his rise to power amid yet further scandals implying deceit and even murder to gain Britain's entrance into the Iraq War. To add to this, numerous Cabinet ministers and other politicos have resigned. Henceforth, many players have risen quickly through the ranks, such as Ed Balls, while other former members, like John Prescott, have made sharp rebukes against some of the players on the Brown team. Meanwhile, the Tories, who have received a number of parliamentary chairs have done so fairly unscathed by the scandals, yet have found their winnings not through their own popularity, but by the despisal for Labor. Included are many of the reform desires of the people, such as a recall procedure, a reform of the House of Lords, and enhanced legislative procedure. Adapted from the source document.
