The Bologna process of European convergence assigns evaluation a key role, as a system for quality assurance of grades, in order to increase the mutual trust among different national education systems. However, current evaluation models neither have been revised to include such a legitimistic perspective, nor have assumed the criteria for internationalization included in the official goals of Bologna declarations. The paper describes, through the opinion of academic staff, a metaevaluation of the evaluation system of grades used in the Andalusian universities. A questionnaire was administered to 81academics, chosen because of their previous experience as members of self-evaluation committees. . The questionnaire included 82 criteria for judging the quality of evaluation stages and key elements. Results show the valued characteristics that any evaluation system should fit. Academics have a certificationist conventional perspective over evaluation, rejecting a political alternative perspective and the opportunities added by evaluation in supporting the efforts of internationalization and European convergence. ; El proceso de convergencia iniciado en Bolonia asigna un papel clave a la evaluación, como garante de la calidad de los títulos, para asegurar la confianza mutua entre los distintos sistemas educativos nacionales. Sin embargo, los modelos de evaluación no han sido revisados para incluir esta perspectiva legitimista, y tampoco se han incluido los requisitos que exige la internacionalización asumida en las declaraciones ministeriales como objetivo deseable del cambio universitario. En este artículo, se presenta una metaevaluación del sistema de evaluación de las titulaciones universitarias andaluzas, a través de la opinión del profesorado. Fueron entrevistados mediante cuestionario un total de 81 profesores con experiencia como miembros de comités de autoevaluación de las titulaciones. El cuestionario se compone de 82 criterios con los que se juzga la calidad del proceso de evaluación a lo largo de todas sus fases y elementos clave. Los resultados se interpretan como las características y valores deseables que debería cumplir el sistema de evaluación. Sugieren la existencia de una perspectiva certificacionista y convencional en el modo de entender la evaluación por parte del profesorado, obviando las posibilidades de un planteamiento político y las oportunidades que brinda para apoyar el proceso de internacionalización y convergencia europea.

While some studies have shown that providing a cue to selectively forget one subset of previously learned facts may cause specific forgetting of this information, little is known about the mechanisms underlying this memory phenomenon. In three experiments, we aimed to better understand the nature of the selective directed forgetting (SDF) effect. Participants studied a List 1 consisting of 18 sentences regarding two (or three) different characters and a List 2 consisting of sentences regarding an additional character. In Experiment 1, we explored the role of rehearsal as the mechanism producing SDF by examining the effect of articulatory suppression after List 1 and during List 2 presentation. In Experiments 2 and 3, we explored the role of attentional control mechanisms by introducing a concurrent updating task after List 1 and during List 2 (Experiment 2) and by manipulating the number of characters to be selectively forgotten (1 out of 3 vs. 2 out of 3). Results from the three experiments suggest that neither rehearsal nor context change seem to be the mechanisms underlying SDF, while the pattern of results is consistent with an inhibitory account. In addition, whatever the responsible mechanism is, SDF seems to rely on the available attentional resources and the demands of the task. Background: Homeless population has been severely affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. Their living conditions, comorbidity with different pathologies and a greater frequency of mental disorders, make this population vulnerable. Method: We implemented a program of serial visits in a hostel for confined homeless of the city council social services, for the monitoring and treatment of mental disorders and substance abuse problems. Accompanied by serial phone and email contacts. Results: A highly significant percentage (63%) had mental disorders or substance abuse, requiring pharmacological intervention, and 37% began follow-up in resources of the Mental Health and Addiction network of the Psychiatric Service at the end of the program. Hospital emergency service visits were drastically reduced. None of them were infected with COVID-19. An individualized Social plan was drawn up in order to reintegrate them with support in the community. Conclusions: The Results have been really positive, meeting all the objectives and opening up developing new programs in the future, in the pandemic outbreak and out of it.

Ecological restoration is key to counteracting anthropogenic degradation of biodiversity and to reducing disaster risk. However, there is limited knowledge of barriers hindering the wider implementation of restoration practices, despite high level political priority to halt the loss of biodiversity. In Europe, progress on ecological restoration has been slow and insufficient to meet international agreements and comply with European Union Nature Directives. We assessed European restoration experts' perceptions on barriers to restoration in Europe, and their relative importance, through a multiple expert consultation using a Delphi process. We found that experts share a common multi‐dimensional concept of ecological restoration. Experts identified a large number of barriers (33) to the advancement of ecological restoration in Europe. Major barriers pertained to the socio‐economic, not the environmental, domain. The three most important being insufficient funding, conflicting interests among different stakeholders and low political priority given to restoration. Our results emphasize the need to increase political commitment at all levels, comply with existing nature laws, and optimize the use of financial resources by increasing funds for ecological restoration and eradicate environmentally harmful subsidies. The experts also call for the integration of ecological restoration into land‐use planning and facilitating stakeholders' collaboration.
