In spite of the fact that today the Spanish emigrants have more weight in the electoral census than ever, the emigrants have lost infl uence on the last four years electoral results. The 2015 Spanish electoral calendar is full of elections, but it is diffi cult that the emigrants who are permanent resident abroad can be decisive. This article analyzes how the reform of the LOREG article 75 has damaged the turnout of the Spanish emigrants. As a result of these legislative changes they cannot participate in the local elections and they have a lot of diffi culties to participate in the rest of the elections
Abstract The following article aims to make headway on the knowledge related to the elements that explain the steep increase of secessionist nationalism during the 21 st century in the peripheral territories of plurinational Western long-established democracies, such as the ones existing in the United Kingdom and Spain. In order to do so, we will be focusing on the quick change observed in the preferences as to the state territorial organization in Catalonia and Scotland. Through the usage of the logistic regression technique, a longitudinal analysis will be carried out to analyze the principal characteristics of the Catalonian and Scottish independence profile throughout the period comprehended between 1999 and 2016.

This research analyses three fundamental questions to determine how, when and by whom emotions are used in campaign materials (political propaganda). Focusing on the 2019 European elections we carry out a three-phase analysis. Firstly, we check the use of rational content against content that appeals to voters' emotions. Secondly, we observe which of these emo tions are channelled towards the use of negative strategies and, therefore, identifying who is the object of this attack. And lastly, we determine which party families make the most use of humorous content since this resource is believed to be part of an appeal to voter's feelings and, therefore, it is essential to know if there are differences between political groups. Considering this analytical strategy, the structure of the work begins with the contextualisation of the 2019 European elections to focus, later, on highlighting the importance of electoral campaigns as a given time when communicative activity intensifies. Once the importance of electoral campaigns has been defined the article analyses how campaign materials, in a general context of political propaganda, are one of the most powerful tools. In this sense, the analytical strategy of political parties' campaign materials can be said to focus on the use of emotions. Data from the European Elections Monitoring Center (EEMC) has been used not only for theoretical contextualization, but throughout the whole paper.

This article describes expert opinion and expert reports commonly requested by courts and lawyers in those technical disciplines related to real estate, within the framework of the current Spanish legislation. As established in Spanish Civil Code Article 348 ¿property means the right to possess, enjoy and dispose of anything of value with no limitations other than those established by law. In addition, the owner is entitled to claim property ownership as its holder and its possessor¿. This regulation has resulted in many litigation proceedings in Spain. Performance appraisal reports can be of aid to non-judicial experts and lawyers in relation to technical issues and can at times be decisive. ; Garrido-Villén, N.; Antón Merino, A.; Berné Valero, JL.; Femenia Ribera, C. The field notes for these studies still exist and can still be referenced today. Nowadays, most of the landmarks that were located in these studies have disappeared; replacing these monuments could be of great interest to the local government, both administratively and economically. The indeterminacy or change of municipal boundaries can lead to tax collection and even supply problems. This paper studies the accuracy of those studies. Furthermore, a technical method for locating the lost monuments is shown; this method could also be used to map the monuments in a precise and reliable way. In this way, the problem of replacing boundaries is subsequently analysed. Garrido-Villén, N.; Berné Valero, JL.; Antón Merino, A.; Anquela Julián, AB. (2014).
