Auf dem Balkan wird das Schicksal des post-bipolaren Modells der europäischen Sicherheit und der neuen internationalen Ordnung entschieden. Der Autor legt dar, in welchem Maße die militärische Intervention der Nato in dieser Region das Verhältnis zwischen Rußland und dem nordatlantischen Verteidigungsbündnis negativ beeinflußt hat und erörtert die Rußland zur Verfügung stehenden Reaktionsmöglichkeiten. In diesem Zusammenhang hebt er insbesondere die guten Kontakte Rußlands zur EU und die sich hier bietenden Möglichkeiten zum Aufbau einer "realen strategischen Partnerschaft" hervor. (BIOst-Mrk)
