This book presents select papers from the International Conference on Smart Technologies in Urban Engineering (STUE-2022), held to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the O.M. Beketov National University of Urban Economy in Kharkiv, Ukraine, on June 9-11, 2022. All the contributions offer plenty of valuable information and would be of great benefit to the experience exchange among scientists in urban engineering

The basic heat exchangers networks of big gasification plants with fossil fuel gasification are considered. The main logistical factors that influence process flowsheets configurations of gasification plants are underlined such as natural quality and components content of fuel to be gasified, range of target products, environmental legislation and demands including regulations for greenhouse gases emission, location relatively to big industrial sites, possibilities of wastes conversion into saleable products. The essential ways of the efficiency enhancement of heat exchangers networks are formulated for integrated gasification plants of combined cycle. The existing systems of syngas absorption cleaning in big gasification plants are discussed. The ways of energy saving retrofit of such systems are defined. The use of plate heat exchangers is considered as perspective for heat transfer components of gases removal systems. ; Рассмотрены основные сети теплообменников крупных газификационных установок с газификацией горючего топлива. Основными логистическими факторами, которые влияют на конфигурации технологических схем газификационных установок, являются характеристики качества и содержания компонентов топлива для газификации; диапазон целевых продуктов; экологическое законодательство и требования, включая выбросы парниковых газов; местоположение относительно крупных промышленных объектов, возможности конверсии отходов в товарную продукцию. Определены существующие системы абсорбционной очистки синтез-газа газификационных агрегатов большой единичной мощности и теплообменные компоненты этих систем. Описаны пути энергосберегающей реконструкции таких систем. Отмечена перспективность пластинчатых теплообменных аппаратов как теплообменных компонентов систем абсорбционной очистки. ; Розглянуто основні мережі теплообмінників великих газифікаційних установок з газифікацією горючого палива. Основними матеріально-технічними факторами, що впливають на конфігурацію технологічних схем газифікаційних установок, їх характеристики – вміст природного газу та компонентів газифікованого палива; асортимент цільових продуктів; екологічне законодавство та вимоги, включаючи вимоги до викидів парникових газів; розташування відносно великих промислових майданчиків; можливості перетворення відходів у продукти, що підлягають продажу. Визначено існуючі системи абсорбційної очистки синтез-газу газифікаційних агрегатів великої одиничної потужності та теплообмінні компоненти цих систем. Означені шляхи енергозберігаючої реконструкції таких систем. Відмічена перспективність пластинчастих теплообмінних апаратів як теплообмінних компонентів систем абсорбційної очистки.
