Objetivou-se identificar práticas extramuros que promovam a inclusão social de usuários do Centro de Atenção Psicossocial do município de Campina Grande/PB/Brasil, a partir de ações comunitárias. Pesquisa descritivo-interpretativa e qualitativa, realizada com 19 profissionais. Utilizou-se entrevista semiestruturada, em 2010, cuja apreciação ocorreu por meio da análise de conteúdo. Revelam-se momentos inclusivos extra CAPS, através das colônias de férias que oportunizam lazer em família e social, mostrando-se fundamentais. Por outro lado, a gestão do município tem contribuído com espaços distribuídos pela cidade, que favorecem a inclusão dos usuários, melhorando sua qualidade de vida.

Objective: To analyze the practices of nursing professionals of a Hospital Emergency and Emergency, directed to self-care; characterize them as the weekly schedule of work and ascertain the difficulties that are to take care of themselves. Method: This exploratory-descriptive and qualitative, performed with a nursing team in July 2009 in a Hospital Emergency and Emergency Campina Grande / PB / Brazil. The empirical material was analyzed using content analysis, having obeyed the precepts of Resolution 196/96, submitted to the Ethics Committee of the Centre for Higher Education and Development (CESED) which approved on 25/05/2009, No. 1846.0. 000405-09. Results: There was a perception of nursing professionals related to self-care; Practice of nursing directed to self-care for health maintenance, and difficulties encountered by practitioners for self-care. Conclusion: The practice of nursing directed to self-care showed negative aspects related to the theme.

Objective: To investigate the use of computer technology, especially the microcomputer as an ally in the process of psychosocial rehabilitation of people in psychological distress, seeking to identify the effects of the use of information in the social context of these people. Methods: This was a descriptive - qualitative interpretative approach, performed in Campina Grande / PB / Brazil, with 19 professionals working in the network of mental health care in 2010. We used the technique of content analysis-categorical theme proposed by Bardin. Results: The results suggest that inclusion of digital technologies in mental health services as key strategies in the rehabilitation process of the user. Conclusion: The use of computer technology is a tool that promotes social inclusion, empowerment and self-esteem of users, fundamental to the process of personal transformation bearer of psychological distress.
