The existence of Covid-19 quickly resulted in many losses, so the government implemented a new normal. This policy encourages all parties to take various ways to restore the economic, social, and cultural conditions, one of which is by cultivating Family Medicinal Plants (TOGA) which also functions to increase the body immunity and utilizing yard land that has not been managed optimally. The activities are socialization about TOGA, cultivation techniques, cultivation practices, mentoring, and evaluation. This activity was carried out during the new normal at RT.03 RW. 05, Limbungan Rumbai was attended by 15 partners. Partners are enthusiastic about cultivating TOGA and have increased knowledge after the implementation of the extension. The practice of planting the 45 TOGA seeds given, 100% succeeded in growing well. The success of growing seedlings include quality seeds, correct planting techniques and giving fertilizer at the right dose.

Since reform was introduced in the governmental administration system in Indonesia, lots of progress have been reached up to the present day but problems are however still found in some cities and district government in West Sumatra. Based on the evaluation by The Ministry of Home Affairs of The Republic of Indonesia in 2011 and 2012 against all level of provincial, districts and city governments through out Indonesia, there is only one regional government namely the City of Sawahlunto of the 12 districts and 7 cities in West Sumatra that comes into the national big 10 having best achievement in the government administration (2011). In order districts and city government can give best performance and increase numbers of the regional Governments the Province of West Sumatra to be able to enter the big 10 of government administration with best performance in the national record ahead, it is highly emphasized that Governor as the representative central government in West Sumatra needs to increase its intensive management on the administration of ditricts and City governments. This study aims to finding out and analyzing management implementation, constraints, obstacles, and endeavours that have been made to overcome the said circumstances encountered by the governor as the government representative in carrying out management on government administration of district and city governments in the province of West Sumatra. In writing this thesis, the wtriter uses the method of yudicial social approach. The Implementation fostering regional government administration of district and city government levels by the governor as the representative government in the Province of West Sumatra is not well-executed because the implementative and technical guidance on the implementation mechanism of management are not yet available but however the Governor with his regional secretary and head of related sectors of development remains to take initiative to carry out the management through the activities of coordinative meetings, socialization and on-going implementation programs and other activities attended by the whole existing district and city Governments in West Sumatra.Keywords: Fostering, regional government administration, of districts and city.

Goods and Services Tax or GST is one of the most controversial taxes, causing dissatisfaction among the people. The distribution of justice and the implementation and effectiveness of GST policies tend to be the most frequently debated issues. The objective of this study is to examine the implementation, impacts, effectiveness, and challenges of GST policy in Southeast Asian countries, particularly Malaysia and Singapore. By employing a critical analysis perspective such as from Marxism's lens of view, it is expected that this article will provide a new perspective in analysing GST policy implementation in the region. A descriptive qualitative analysis approach was used in this study, emphasising the content analysis method and the data obtained from official sources and literature studies. The study found that GST contributed to Singapore and Malaysia's economy and revenue. Nevertheless, the GST impact affected the citizens of Singapore and Malaysia, especially the lower-income earners. The study argued that there is a dilemma in the GST tax policy implementation. It can be assumed through the findings that the GST policy did not meet the conscience of the Marxist perspective as it is regressive. Thus, in several parts of GST implementation, it has both advantages to the country's production and productivity. On the other hand, it disadvantages society, particularly the lower- and middle-class groups.

This study empirically investigates the relationship between entrepreneurial competencies and sustainability performance. It also explores the direct effects of financial capital, human capital, social capital, government support and business environment on sustainability performance of micro-enterprises operating in the informal sector. The study is conducted within the context of Senegal and through the lens of resource-based view theory. Employing a cross-sectional design, data is collected from randomly selected micro and small entrepreneurs operating in the informal sector. The outcomes include a positive effect of opportunity recognition competency, commitment competency and government support on the sustainability performance of micro-enterprises. An Importance Performance Matrix analysis indicates that these factors are the most important factors determining sustainability performance of micro-enterprises within the context of the informal sector. The findings extend the scope of RBV while simultaneously enhancing the knowledge and understanding pertaining to the interplay of entrepreneurial competencies and sustainability performance, particularly for small business operators in the informal sector. Implications are drawn to theory development, practice and public policy.

Entrepreneurship is viewed as one of the key economic development strategies to advance a country's economic growth and to sustain its competitiveness in facing the increasing trends of globalization. The Malaysian government has made tremendous efforts in promoting entrepreneurship education across the country. This paper therefore aims to review the programs and policies, together with empirical studies on entrepreneurial education, and its effects on students' entrepreneurial intentions. Finally, the review of the policies and practices in Malaysia shows that the government is mostly focused on the following aspects: improving the current policy on entrepreneurship education, providing various entrepreneurship programs to increase the number of young entrepreneurs, and highlighting the need to empower entrepreneurship education among graduates of HEIs. AbstractObjectivesThis study aims to analyze the impact and students' perceptions of online peer‐assisted learning (OPL), developed as an alternative and innovative approach to Special Care Dentistry (SCD) training during the COVID‐19 pandemic. Online peer‐assisted learning (OPL) is an alternative pedagogical approach that combines online education and peer‐assisted teaching.MethodsThe OPL session was conducted by two postgraduate students in SCD (as teachers), to final year undergraduate dental students (as learners) (n = 90), supervised by two specialists in SCD‐related areas (as supervisors). Vetted online pre‐ and post‐intervention quizzes were conducted before and after the session, respectively, followed by an online validated feedback survey of the students' learning experiences. Meanwhile, a reflective session was conducted between the postgraduate students and supervisors to explore their perceptions of OPL. Quantitative data was analyzed via paired t‐test (significance level, P < .05). Qualitative data was analyzed via thematic analysis.ResultsOverall, 68 (response rate = 75.6%) and 81 (response rate = 90.0%) undergraduate students completed the quiz and feedback survey, respectively. There was a significant difference in total mean scores, and mean scores of 7 (out of 10) individual items on the quizzes. Most students offered positive reviews of multiple aspects of OPL. They acknowledged the benefit of OPL for its content and preparation process, technology utilized, and experts' roles. Postgraduate students perceived that OPL encourages knowledge‐recall and utilization of technology‐based educational tools, while improving their teaching skills.ConclusionStudents provided positive responses toward the implementation of OPL as an innovative approach to the teaching and learning of SCD during the COVID‐19 pandemic.
