"The public sector, which includes all organizations that provide public services, is driven by providing services to improve citizens' quality of life and not necessarily by profit. Usually, the public sector is characterized by being less advanced than the private sector, and public sector organizations seldom search for changes that could benefit them, as they do not necessarily see the advantages of experimenting with unfamiliar concepts and investing time and resources in ventures with questionable returns on investments. Governance strategy and systems are one such concept. Today, governance has become an agenda issue for various academic and professional journals. It is widely accepted to be a significant source of competitive advantage. Although the study of governance is not new, it has only been recognized in the last two decades as being a crucial factor for organizational success. Governance has gained much attention from both academics and practitioners; however, as a discipline, it is still in its infancy, especially in the public sector. Health institutions are essential for an economy to grow and develop and moreover in case of emerging economies, it is imperative. However, health institutions, in general, do not meet the expectation of the public in terms of quality health services in many countries. This may be due to many reasons like shortage of doctors, hospitals, beds, infrastructure, and governance. Hence, the objective of this paper is to do a critical analysis of governance in public health institutions with an emphasis on developing and strengthening corporate culture and leadership in health institutions to strengthen the public health sector. Adopting an exploratory approach with an in-depth literature review, the aim of this paper is to critically analyze corporate governance in public health institutions in Zimbabwe. In the process, key issues or problems are identified and analyzed. Further, an attempt is made to provide a range of solutions to overcome the trepidations and issues. Based on the alternative solutions suggested, an array of recommendations is made, and also an implementation plan for the suggested recommendations is provided.

Age diversity plays an important role and as a tool can transform the organization, culture, and performance. Research indicates a need to have a balance between the older and the younger generation to foster creativity, innovativeness, and better decision making. Apart from that, age diversity also ensures a smooth transition of power and positions across all organizational thereby leading to enhanced performance. Literature emphasizes that skills and information as a result of age diversity contribute to the quality of the team and overall organizational performance while succession planning ensures consistency and leadership continuity. Adopting a qualitative research method, descriptive in nature with survey design, the objective of this study is to identify age diversity role in succession planning and how effective it is as a tool in succession planning for improving performance in state-owned enterprises (SOEs). Findings reveal a strong correlation between age diversity, succession planning, and the performances of state-owned enterprises.

Small entrepreneur performance is always seen along with the complete proportions of financial, strategic, and structural development. The socioeconomic function performed by them is widely known. Yet there is concern regarding their financial literacy due to declining public and private to support and large developments in the financial marketplace. The concern is also deep due to the financial challenges and dearth of financial literacy of them. This may be a major factor for poor financial decision making and even deprived financial inclusion. Further, poor financial literacy causes not only business failures but has a penury multiplier effect. Thus, there is a global reckoning that financial literacy is not only vital for economic-financial stability and development but also as a strategy for financial inclusion. Hence, adopting a conceptual analysis approach, the aim of this study is to deliberate on financial literacy as a strategy for enhancing the financial inclusion of small entrepreneurs in the Indian context.

Globally, the land is a valuable resource. Many years of colonialism resulted in the majority of the population having no access to agricultural land especially in many African countries, and Namibia is no exception. Today, land access and equity are burning issues. Hence, adopting a qualitative research approach and data collection with a non-random purposive sample of 60 respondents' through questionnaires, interviews, and secondary data to investigate how the stakeholder approach can facilitate the effective implementation of the land reform program to enhance access and equity in Namibia. The paper examines challenges faced in implementing the land reform program, determine the level of stakeholder participation, and develop strategies based on the stakeholder approach for improved implementation of the land reform program. Findings reflect that stakeholders felt that the government is not consulting them enough and that is the reason why the land reform process has failed to enhance access and equity and is lacks the pace to the detriment of the landless majority.

The education sector needs to attract large-scale investments as that is the key to access, affordability, and equity. It is also a critical factor necessary for economic growth, development, and sustenance. It is important to note that while literacy and elementary education are important and necessary for development, they are not adequate for economic development. Hence, this paper through in-depth literature review and content analysis delves into the stakeholder approach in education for finer student engagement via quality and lifelong learning, which would hopefully not only optimize the education impact but also ensure quality and promote lifelong learning for sustainability in education.

Knowledge that is not well managed and shared disintegrates easily, especially, tacit knowledge that resides in the mind and is accumulated over time. In the realm of knowledge management processes, knowledge sharing is vital yet probably the most difficult one. Knowledge sharing refers to the transference of knowledge among individuals, groups, teams, departments, and organizations. It is also the building block for the success of the organization as it provides a competitive edge. However, many factors that affect knowledge-sharing behaviors include personal characteristics, characteristics of groups, organizations, trust, culture, etc. Different researchers have identified and explained various antecedents to knowledge-sharing behavior. However, the purpose of this conceptual article is to uncover the issues in knowledge sharing and transfer, particularly investigate the learning link in organizational tacit knowledge creation and dissemination.

Governments all over the world play a crucial role in the development of infrastructure and the provision of basic services to the citizens. With increasing population, urbanization, other developmental needs, the governments' ability to address public needs through traditional means is severely constrained. Due to this, new approaches and forms are being sought after and one such is through contractual agreements with the private sector commonly referred to as a public-private partnership (PPP). A PPP is a contractual agreement involving the private sector in the delivery of public services. PPP formations are effected by government support, economic uncertainties, market readiness, and organizational factors. Adopting a mixed methods approach, the primary data was collected through questionnaires, interviews, and secondary data from published reports and documents the objective was to explore the dynamics in the implementation of PPP agreements with focus on Namibia and enhance the knowledge to enable the government and private entities in dealing well with these factors.

To cause change at practice level people need to translate what they know into concrete instructional policies and practices to be more productive and ensure organizations, organizational and thereby social development. Development Studies reflect that there is disconnect between knowledge acquired especially in the area of management education. This disconnect creates a gap and lessens organizational and social development. Action research and learning can fill this gap. This article addresses a simple question: does action learning and research lead to development? If so, what is it that people need to know about action learning and action research that alludes well to this crucial aspect? Adopting a grounded theory approach and in-depth literature review, the core of the study is to promote understanding of action learning and research, connection between knowledge to practice and how this makes organizational and social development more possible. Further attempts are to provide a framework to adopt action research to enhance holistic development in these societal driven economies.
