The Soviet authorities began building collective farms in Ukrainian Danube almost immediately after the region joined the USSR in 1940. According to Soviet authorities, almost 215 collective farms were organized in the region before the Soviet-German war. Rebuilding of the collective farms damaged during the war and the creation of the new ones started in late 1944, but over the next few years this process was very slow. This, on the one hand, can be explained by the difficulties of the reconstruction period, when all the efforts were aimed to restore the national post war economy; and on the other hand, the local peasants, who were accustomed to running a farm independently and were wary of proposals from the new (Soviet) government, displayed cautiousness. In addition, the famine of 1946-1947 hit the territory of the Ukrainian Danube territories the hardest, which also added to the caution of the peasants in the transfer of their land to the artels. Only since 1946, the Communists began more or less active work to carry out collectivization in the region. The newspaper «Znamia Sovetov», was the body of the Tatarbunary District Committee of the Communist Party (Bolsheviks) of Ukraine and the Tatarbunary Council of Workers' Deputies. The materials of this newspaper, published since 1945, made it possible to analyze the course of collectivization in the area and its reflection in the columns of the specified edition. The main conclusions reached by the author who analyzed the materials of the newspaper are as follows. Firstly, in the first half of 1946, collectivization in the Tatarbunary district was very slow: by the middle of that year, there were only seven collective farms there. Secondly, the pace of collectivization speeded up in the second half of 1946, when the authorities actually forced peasants to join the collective farms. But in the newspapers these facts were presented as voluntary decisions of individual peasants. Third, by the end of 1947, collectivization in the Danube region had not been completed yet, as more than 20% of peasant farms (in the Tatarbunary district) remained individual. Fourth, the newspaper «Znamia Sovetov» clearly fulfilled the tasks of the «mouthpiece» of the communist government. There was practical absence of critical materials, the articles avoided mentioning the famine and difficulties of collectivization. The published materials were mostly performed in the spirit of «hurray-patriotism». Fifth, the newspaper materials contained information that did not correspond to the official statistics. Therefore, in the article we used the archival data to confirm or refute the information. ; До будівництва колгоспів на території українського Придунав"я радянська влада приступила практично відразу після приєднання краю до СРСР у 1940 році. За звітами органів радянської влади до початку радянсько-німецької війни в регіоні було організовано 215 колгоспів. Відновлення постраждалих в ході війни колективних селянських господарств та створення нових розпочалося наприкінці 1944 р., однак протягом кількох наступних років цей процес відбувався дуже повільно. Це можна пояснити з одного боку, труднощами періоду відбудови, коли всі сили було спрямовано на відновлення народного господарства після війни; а з другого боку, обережністю місцевих селян, які звикли до одноосібного ведення господарства та з насторогою ставилися до пропозицій нової (радянської) влади. До того ж голод 1946-1947 років найбільш болюче вдарив саме по території українського Придунав'я, що також додало обережності селянам в питаннях передачі власної землі до артілей. Лише починаючи з 1946 року комуністи розпочали більш-менш активну роботу по проведенню колективізації в регіоні. На підставі аналізу матеріалів газети «Знамя Совєтов», яка була органом Татарбунарського райкому комуністичної партії (більшовиків) України та Татарбунарської ради депутатів трудящих й видавалася з 1945 року, проаналізовано хід колективізації в районі, його відображення на шпальтах зазначеного видання. Основні висновки, до яких дійшла авторка при аналізі матеріалів газети. По-перше, в першій половині 1946 р. колективізація в Татарбунарському районі проходила дуже повільно: до середини року існувало лише 7 колгоспів. По-друге, прискорення темпів колективізації відбулося з другої половини 1946 року, коли влада адміністративно-силовими методами фактично змушувала селян до колгоспів. При тому що на сторінках газет все це подавалося, як добровільне рішення селян-одноосібників. По-третє, до кінця 1947 року колективізацію в Придунав'ї завершено не було – ще понад 20% селянських господарств (у Татарбунарському районі) залишалися одноосібними. По-четверте, газета «Знамя Совєтов» чітко виконувала завдання «рупору» комуністичної влади: практична відсутність критичних матеріалів, жодних згадок про голод та складнощі колективізації, більшість опублікованих матеріалів в дусі «ура-патріотизму». По-п'яте, в матеріалах газети було знайдено відомості, які не відповідають офіційній статистиці, тому в статті для підтвердження або спростування інформації було використано архівні матеріали.

The achievements of Ukrainian and foreign authors on the history of the nobility of Kherson and Bessarabian provinces of the post-reform period are analyzed in the present article. The author emphasized on the problematic presentation of the material in the following area: problem-historiographical works, general works on the history of the nobility, regional and personal research on the history of the nobility. Given the long period of research on this problem, the historiography of the issue is divided into three main periods: pre-revolutionary, soviet, modern. Each period is quite representative, covers a wide range of issues on the history of nobility in the Southern Ukrainian lands: nobilitation processes, the incorporation of foreign nobility into the general imperial, issues of socio-economic history and class confrontation, the history of individual genera etc. From the middle of the XIX century among the general array of historical research about nobility of the empire, appear works that analyze the activities of the nobility in specific sectors of the economy or government in provinces Russian Empire. A significant layer of pre-revolutionary literature was devoted to various aspects of political, administrative, estate, zemstvo activities of the nobility in the second half of the nineteenth - early twentieth century. However, studies of this period, as a rule, limited the description of the history of development the nobility, its participation in the political and social life of the state. The Soviet period of historiography was characterized by an extremely negative attitude towards the nobility and its individual representatives. This period was characterized by a directively limited framework and unquestioning subordination to the Marxist paradigm. After proclamation of the Independent of Ukraine, the number of works devoted to the nobility and its participation in the life of society is steadily increasing. Modern historians are interested in the ethnic characteristics of the nobility of the Southern Ukraine and their place in the economic, political and cultural development of the region. ; У статті проаналізовано доробок вітчизняних та іноземних дослідників щодо історії провінційного дворянства Херсонської та Бессарабської губерній пореформеного періоду. Автор зробив акцент на проблемному викладі матеріалу за напрямами: проблемно-історіографічні роботи, загальні праці з історії дворянства, регіональні та персональні дослідження з історії дворянства. Враховуючи тривалий в часовому відношенні період досліджень цієї проблеми, історіографія питання умовно поділяється на три основних періоди: дореволюційний, радянський, сучасний. Кожен з них є досить репрезентативним, охоплює широке коло питань з історії дворянської верстви в південноукраїнських землях: нобілітаційні процеси, інкорпорація іноземного дворянства до складу загальноімперського стану, питання соціально-економічної історії та класового протистояння верств, історія окремих родів тощо. З середини ХІХ ст. серед загального масиву історичних розвідок про дворянство імперії, з'являються праці, в яких аналізується діяльність дворян і в конкретних галузях економіки або управління, і на конкретних територіях, які входили на той час до складу Російської імперії. Значний пласт дореволюційної літератури було присвячено різноманітним аспектам політичної, управлінсько-станової, земської діяльності дворянства в другій половині ХІХ – на початку ХХ ст. Однак, дослідження цього періоду, як правило, обмежувалися описовою стороною історії розвитку шляхетного стану, його участі в політичному та громадському житті держави. Радянський період історіографії характеризувався вкрай негативним ставленням до дворянської верстви та її окремих представників. Цей період характеризувався директивно обмеженими рамками проблематики та беззаперечним підпорядкуванням марксистський парадигмі. З проголошенням незалежної України кількість праць, присвячених дворянству та його участі у житті суспільства, неухильно зростає. Значний інтерес у сучасних істориків викликають питання етнічної характеристики дворянства південноукраїнських земель та їх місце в економічному, політичному, культурному розвитку регіону.
