This investigation was carried out among the final-year classes of 12 educational institutions: 3 State schools, 3 Protestant schools and 6 Ca tholic schools. The research is subdivided in three parts. The first part includes a content analysis of the courses of philosophy, religion and one called 'Columbian institutions', as well as an opinion survey dealing with the subject matter of the courses and the way it is taught. The second part sets out to determine which type of ideology attracts the pupils. The analysis was limited to a study of the pupils' attitudes with regard to certain dimensions of democratization and secularization, and their opinions on the social meaning of religion. The third part tries to see how far the family reinforces (or does not reinforce) the communication of the values transmitted by the school environment; with this in mind the head of each family was asked to explain the motives which lead him to choose a particular school, and also to give his opinions on social change. In general, it can be concluded that the values transmitted by education are socially traditional, even if it is possible to detect certain more liberal or democratic tendencies in some institutions. On the other hand, the survey among the pupils shows that even at the level of secondary education, some of them already hold critical opinions with regard to the cultural content which is transmitted to them by the family and the school. These channels of cultural transmission are inevi tably, today, competing with others, as for example the mass media, whose development is increasingly generalizing an ideological pluralism.

Résumé L'objectif de cette contribution est d'envisager les principes clefs de la « thérapie brève systémique » appliqués hors du strict cadre « psychothérapeutique » ; thérapie qui endosse alors une dénomination originale : l'« intervention systémique brève ». Après avoir précisé le contenu des notions essentielles utilisées par ce modèle d'action sur/dans les organisations (considérées au sens le plus large du terme) – et qui, fondamentalement, vise à résoudre les problèmes qui, continûment, ne manquent pas d'y surgir –, notre article considère deux cas d'espèce singuliers, dans lesquels les divers concepts répertoriés ont pu trouver à s'employer pour le plus grand bénéfice des protagonistes en cause.

"This is the first cultural history of the originally Canadian company M.A.C Cosmetics, charting the evolution of M.A.C's unusual corporate philanthropy around HIV/AIDS awareness. The book situates M.A.C's remarkable corporate philanthropy within three cultural and social phenomena of the 1980s and 1990s: the revitalization of the Toronto fashion industry, the evolution of the AIDS epidemic in North America, and the increasing commodification of social causes. Describing M.A.C's philanthropic work through its VIVA GLAM fundraising lipstick, this book delves into the history of its charity, the M.A.C AIDS Fund, which featured drag performer RuPaul and singer k.d. lang in its first advertising campaigns. M.A.C defied the stigma associated with AIDS that alarmed many other corporations, and instead engaged in AIDS advocacy while maintaining its creative and fashionable authority. Framed by Pierre Bourdieu's field theory and Judith Butler's gender theory, and engaging with archives, contemporaneous media communications, and interviews with key fashion figures, the book explains how M.A.C's activities around AIDS philanthropy were based in specific cultural practices, rather than being part of a strategic marketing plan. Ultimately, M.A.C's unusual style of corporate social responsibility originated and functioned within the same field of cultural production in which the AIDS crisis was directly experienced: fashion. As such, M.A.C's activities can be viewed as markedly different from other cases of corporate philanthropy or cause marketing."--
