This document includes the deliverable D7.2 of the AiRT project, which covers the first version of the Data Management Plan. Consortium of AiRT project participates in the Open Research Data Pilot for H2020 programme. Therefore, this document will describe how research data collected during the project will be made accessible by the partners and the repositories selected where deposit the data. Document elaboration is based on information included in deliverable D6.3 (Report on monitoring and evaluation of communication and dissemination activities). Revisions for the Data Management Plan will be made during the rest of the project, to include information related to next deliverables and tasks. Este artículo analiza las percepciones de empresas mineras y sus stakeholders en cinco países de Latinoamérica. Mediante entrevistas, aborda las dimensiones del análisis relacionadas con el papel de las empresas en las comunidades, las relaciones entre actores y la participación de la comunidad en la toma de decisiones. Los resultados arrojan diferentes visiones y conclusiones, entre ellas la necesidad de una implementación efectiva del modelo multiactor para mejorar la Responsabilidad Social Corporativa y reducir conflictos.

[EN] The collaborative economy brings new business models through digital platforms which compete with services that have traditionally been highly regulated. This is the case of the taxi sector. The new business models that have emerged in private passenger transport are mainly based on the customisation opportunities provided by big data, yet the traditional business model followed by the taxi sector is finding it difficult to adapt to these changes in order to remain competitive, as we can observe from a content analysis of news over the last year in Spain. In this paper, we analyse the need to raise these issues through a governance model in which all stakeholders can express their opinions, trying to achieve solutions based on consensus for real deregulation. The far-reaching effects on the drone manufacturing industry as a whole, as well as in the creative industry (CI), will likely only be precisely quantified in the coming years. This is primarily due to the fact that the innovative integrated indoor positioning system not only brings advantages to the creative industries, but will certainly inspire other industries in the future that will adapt this innovative product to their specific needs. Overall, however, we hope that the AiRT project has drawn attention to the needs of the CCIs, especially for SMEs, so that they will be able to strengthen their economic position within the EU through the solution we offer. ; This project has received funding from the European Union's Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under grant agreement nº 732433.

The objective of this deliverable number 18, D5.5 Report on results of demonstration, is to present the results obtained during the development of the activity TASK 5.3. Demonstration of the capacities of AiRT system, in a relevant scenario, which is part of the WP5: Integration, validation and demonstration. The scenario is the Science Museum, designed by the Spanish architect Santiago Calatrava, which is located in the City of Arts and Sciences (CAC). Nowadays, the CAC is considered as the most important modern tourist destination in the city of Valencia. Therefore, this is an optimal environment to draw attention to our project and to demonstrate the potential of AiRT. In order to perform the demonstration, we applied the PAR method, based on the critical analysis of the AiRT RPAS & software, with the active participation of some Cultural and Creative Industry (CCIs) stakeholders. This method combines two processes, to know and to act, involving the CCIs in both of them. Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV) coordinated this activity because it has specialists in PAR for validating the process, with the collaboration of all partners. ; This project has received funding from the European Union's Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under grant agreement nº 732433.

As a result of the development of new industrialized countries, such as Brazil, China and other Southern Asian economies, as well as a globalized economy, traditional competitive paradigms based on advantages associated with costs and quality efficiencies or even innovation are no longer sufficient. These previous classical paradigms related competitiveness either to costs or technology innovation and the resources of industry incumbents. However, the combination of adequate knowledge and relationship management with marketing efforts brings forth a reconsideration of the present competitive models that go beyond those analyses from the point of view of global value chains. The objective of this investigation will analyze the governance structure of the territorial value chain in the Spanish and Italian ceramic tile industry, through the understanding of the previous and current roles of several industries involved in the value creation system. By way of both a case study and quantitative methodology approach, we will explore the paradigm change where traditional chain actors are losing their grip on their contribution to the territorial value creation system as new actors appear with a more stable status. The article concludes that proper positioning in the global value chain is a key strategy for the sustainability of the involved firms, especially Small and Medium Enterprises (SME).

[EN] The occurrence of creative service industries (CSI) is a strong determinant of differences in wealth amongst European regions. However, it is unknown if the strong effects are limited to occurring within regional boundaries or whether there are spillover effects into neighbouring regions. The purpose of this paper is to assess the existence of CSI spillover effects on the wealth of neighbouring regions. CSI and spillovers are integrated into both an empirical model and an endogenous growth model. Both models are estimated for a sample of 250 regions in the European Union in 2008. The environment of small tourism islands, as climate and coastal resources, make them favourable locations for luxury resorts. However, tourism can cause a threat to these islands' local environment. Thus, the Maldives government has developed regulations to ensure a balance between resource protection and use. This study examines, from the conceptual framework of sustainable tourism, whether luxury indicates sustainability in the Maldives, that is, if there is a link between luxury and sustainability. To perform this analysis we have studied 91 deluxe and non-deluxe resorts in the Maldives using content analysis methodology. Then we have applied a Principal Components Analysis to determine whether the resorts can be grouped according to their tourist attractions and sustainable activities. Results show that we can not affirm that luxury implies sustainability, but we might conclude that both are possible.

AbstractInnovation is not just an economic and or technological tool; it is also a social phenomenon. This paper draws together the concepts of creating shared value, the stakeholder theory, and socially oriented innovation to research companies' decisions on asserting socially related objectives when innovating. We examine the extent to which this decision process is bounded by constraints related to information and the characteristics of innovation. To perform this study we used a dataset that monitors the innovation activities of companies. This study offers an empirical analysis of the influence on firms' social innovation orientation. The empirical analysis supports the theoretical framework and identifies the firm's community links as key factors in developing new innovations, process and product‐oriented, which have an impact on the social‐innovation orientation of the firm. Additionally, it shows how the setting up of social goals when innovating is affected by the information source and the innovation mode being developed. This open access book offers an interdisciplinary perspective and presents various case studies on music as ICH, highlighting the importance and functionality of music to stimulating social innovation and entrepreneurship. Intangible Cultural Heritage (ICH) covers the traditions or living expressions proposed by the 2003 Convention for the Safeguarding of the Intangible Cultural Heritage in five areas, including music. To understand the relationship between immaterial and material uses and inherent cultural landscapes, this open access book analyzes the symbolic, political, and economic dimensions of music. The authors highlight the continuity and current functionality of these artistic forms of expression as well as their lively and changing character in continuous transformation. Topics include the economic value and impact of music, strategies for social innovation in the music sector, music management, and public policies to promote cultural and creative industries.

AbstractThis paper uses non-traditional approaches to predict why volunteers remain in or quit a non-governmental organisation position. A questionnaire featuring 55 predictors was conducted via an online survey mechanism from March to May 2021. A total of 250 responses were received. The subsequent data analysis compared logistic regression and artificial neural network results, using machine-learning interpreters to explain the features which determined decisions. The results indicate greater accuracy for neural networks. According to the logistic regression results, intrinsic motivation, volunteering through an NGO and the age of volunteers influenced the intention to remain. Moreover, NGOs that offered online volunteering opportunities during the COVID-19 pandemic had higher rates of intention to remain. However, the neural network analysis, performed using the Local Interpretable Model-Agnostic Explanations (LIME) method, indicated the need to consider different predictors to those identified by the logistic regression. The LIME method also enables the individualisation of the explanations of predictions, indicating the importance of considering the role of volunteers' feelings in both quit and remain decisions, which is something that is not provided by traditional methods such as logistic regression. Furthermore, the LIME approach demonstrates that NGOs must address both volunteer management and experience to retain volunteers. Nonetheless, volunteer management is more critical to stop volunteers quitting, suggesting that volunteer integration is crucial.

[EN] Safety and security concerns play a key role during the design of civil UAs (aircraft controlled by a pilot who is not onboard it) by the producers and the offer of different services by the operators. At present, European countries have fragmented regulations about the manufacture and use of civil drones, therefore the European institutions are trying to approach all these regulations into a common one. In this sense, not only law but also ethics can give guidelines to the industry in order to obtain better reports from their clients.
