En este ensayo crítico se presenta una serie de reflexiones basadas en la visibilización de los ejes que sostienen los supuestos básicos subyacentes de los sistemas coloniales y neocoloniales. Se parte del principio de que las ideologías dominantes del sistema global se mantienen gracias a la elaboración de discursos ubicuos impuestos como los sustratos epistemológicos de la así llamada "modernidad". La reflexión concluye con la necesidad de otorgar estatus epistemológico a las historias fronterizas como nuevos referentes para la teorización y para la desnaturalización de los discursos opacos y dominantes en el sistema mundo moderno contemporáneo.

The available literature on the relationship between taxation and economic growth is mixed, although some consensus exists on the negative effects of some taxes on growth. In this paper we study the relationship between taxation and growth for the European Union in 2 0 0 4 - 2 0 1 6 through a quantile regression approach to detect different patterns along the distribution. The results show a negative effect of the tax burden, with higher impact at the last quantiles, evidencing a non-linear relationship between tax burden and economic growth in the European Union, in contrast, the top corporate tax rate appears as non-significant in this study. In addition, population growth, with negative impact, and investment and human capital, with positive effect, also explain the economic growth in the period ; La literatura existente sobre la relación entre impuestos y crecimiento económico no es concluyente, aunque existe cierto consenso sobre los efectos negativos de determinados impuestos sobre el crecimiento económico. En este trabajo se estudia la relación entre fiscalidad y crecimiento económico en los países de la Unión Europea mediante regresión cuantllica en el periodo 2004- 2016 para detectar distintos comportamientos a lo largo de la distribución. Los resultados muestran una relación negativa de la presión fiscal, con mayor impacto en los últimos cuantiles, evidenciando una relación no lineal entre impuestos y crecimiento en la Unión Europea. Sin embargo, el tipo máximo del impuesto de sociedades no resulta significativo en este estudio. Finalmente, el crecimiento de la población, con impacto negativo, y la inversión y el capital humano, con efecto positivo, también explican el crecimiento económico en el periodo analizado

As such, various cross section calculation methods have been developed to varying accuracy. The IAM-SCAR+I method has been improved upon recently to fulfil the optical theorem and the results for two important simple molecules, N and O, are presented here. These results are compared to literature and our findings are comparable in most impact energy ranges. In this note we study the convergence of local taxation in the EU-15 for 1975-2015 and two sub-periods, 1975-1994 and 1995-2015. Through a sigma convergence analysis, we find evidence of convergence for 1975-2015 and 1995-2015 but divergence for 1975-1994. In a club convergence approach, the countries are clustered into two clubs in the overall sample, while in the sub-periods we identify two and three clubs and divergent countries. ; En esta nota estudiamos la convergencia de la imposición local en la UE-15 en 1975-2015 y dos subperiodos, 1975-1994 y 1995-2015. Mediante un análisis de sigma convergencia, encontramos evidencia de convergencia para 1975-2015 y 1995-2015 pero divergencia para 1975-1994. En una aproximación de clubs de convergencia, los países son agrupados en dos clubs en el periodo completo, mientras que en los subperiodos identificamos dos y tres clubs respectivamente junto a países divergentes.
