At the beginning of 21st century, UE issued a document in which, in accordance with Lisbon Strategy, basic aspects of UE transport policy were introduced. In recent years permanently increasing pace of changes in politics, economy and society has been visible in extending global production, lack of energy supply stability and growing global warming which results in reinterpretation of transport and logistics issues. 30 new priorities in balanced transport and logistics development are the result of a periodical assessment of Transport White Book. The efficiency and effectiveness of UE proposals imposes not only common actions but also unanimous perception of the priorities and solutions. Not only extensive knowledge about these issues is necessary, but also the ability to creative interpretation of UE directives contained in documents.

In this publication the Author presents particular logistics tasks in army and units responsible for it's realization in the context of the Fifth change of the Polish Military Contingent in Iraq. The Author gives also valuable guidelines useful for improving the logistic services of future Polish Military Contingents.

Motivation: The security environment is evolving globally and more attention is given for other than military threats. They are major concern related to internal and external security of any country as their nature is complex and it is evolving crossing national borders. Globalization is one of processes enabling freedom of operations for criminal, terrorist and other dangerous movements endangering security environment and economy. The 'One Belt, One Road' concept, promoted by China, is vulnerable for attacks along land and sea legs. To face threats an international cooperation of involved countries must create opportunities to counter all illegal acts.Aim: The aim of the paper is to study security threats influencing security of economy processes by analysing the 'One Belt, One Road' concept. In the paper theoretical methods have been adopted.Results: The research allowed drawing conclusions related to ways of overcoming the threats toward supply chains caused by evolving security environment based on the risks related to the 'One Belt, One Road' concept.
