Как цивилизационный канал он наполнил Сибирь мощным интеллектуальным потоком, который, быстро окрепнув на благодатной почве, вскоре стал давать обратную подпитку метрополии.Для нас, живущих в Сибири, прошлое ТРАНССИБА- как легенда, настоящее- как жизнь, будущеекак мечта. После смены политэкономической ориентации страны государственные вожжи ослабли, но и у частного интереса, прибирающего Сибирь к своим рукам, девиз не изменился.Остается надеяться, что возобладает разумное начало - родиною станут считать и наш край, и ТРАНССИБ заработает во благо земель, по которым он пролегает.
