Objective: To analyze the vulnerability of caregivers of elderly with dementia. Method: This is an integrative review of quantitative and qualitative nature. The data collection period was from 01/09/14 to 10/30/14. Results: Of the articles analyzed, 26% point interventions to relieve overload; 20% analyze the depression load; 16% of studies address caregiver burden; 14% guided their discussions in physical and spiritual well-being, psychological and social well-being and damage to quality of life; 12% adress stress. Conclusion: Researchers from several countries show the care impact on the life of the caregiver, highlighting: the emotional overload, routine stress, and depressive symptoms. However, there are mitigation measures identified through the research that can contribute to the everyday stress relief, such as the daily practice of yoga meditation, religion, the positive relationship between the family, the elderly and the caregiver.

Objective: To identify the main interference of work on oil rigs in occupational health; describe the actuation of nurse in the management of occupational risks on oil rigs; analyze how risk management can promote occupational health worker. Method: an integrative review, in order to answer the following research question: What is produced on the nurse in managing risks in occupational health worker oil rig? Results: companies that had nurses working in the planning for the prevention of accidents had fewer reports of work accidents and occupational diseases, as efforts to prevent these diseases were being performed with increasing frequency. Conclusion: The management of occupational risks is a major challenge for the entire multidisciplinary team of health of certain oil companies, and the nurse is the professional activities highlighted in this scope.

Objective: Analyze the publications focusing on the administration of drugs in nursing care which were made
available in the databases within the period from 2007 to 2011. Method: This is an integrative review study
carried out in databases of the Virtual Health Library (LILACS and SciELO), in May and June 2011. Results: In the
discussions stood out: training with the aid of the virtual learning environment through distance education, errors
in prescriptions which led to errors in drug administration, and importance of prevention to avoid mistakes.
Conclusion: If the prescriptions are prepared having guidelines, recommendations, and team training as a basis,
besides communication between the professionals, one may say that the risks related to errors in drug
administration tend to sharply decrease.

Este artigo tem como objetivo analisar as denúncias de violência ao idoso no período de 2020 a 2023 na perspectiva da Bioética. Trata-se de um estudo observacional, retrospectivo, documental descritivo, com abordagem quantitativa, com coleta de dados no banco de dados do Ministério dos Direitos Humanos e da Cidadania no período de 2020-2023. A coleta de dados dispensou aprovação pela CEP-CONEP, pois envolveu dados de domínio público. As informações foram analisadas através das variáveis apresentadas em números e percentuais. Foram detectados 408.395 mil registros de denúncias no período. A faixa etária com maior percentual de violência foi de 80 anos ou mais, sendo do sexo feminino. A raça/cor do idoso vítima violência foi em sua maioria a branca, o grau de instrução teve um percentual maior no ensino fundamental incompleto e na faixa de renda do idoso vítima de violência foi de um salário-mínimo o percentual no período de 2020 a 2023 em maior quantitativo. A implementação de estratégias para reduzir os impactos da violência contra pessoas idosas deve incluir uma análise que ofereça suporte às famílias, incentivando práticas sociais que facilitem o acesso às políticas públicas em suas diversas esferas. Tanto a sociedade quanto o governo devem estabelecer condições para identificar agressores e vítimas, priorizando especialmente o fornecimento de assistência aos idosos que foram vítimas de violência. É evidente que a escassez de discussões e pesquisas dedicadas aos princípios da bioética em relação às questões de acessibilidade em diversas interfaces sociais é uma limitação significativa. Isso demanda uma investigação mais aprofundada sobre temas como autonomia e vulnerabilidade, bem como os dilemas bioéticos, especialmente relacionados aos direitos da população idosa.

Objective: to identify the interference of stress on the health of nursing workers at the hospital environment; describe the problems due to stress in these professionals and to evaluate the relationship of stress as a risk factor to the propensity of cancer in nursing workers' health at the hospital environment. Method: it is an exploratory descriptive research with a qualitative approach. It was approved by the Ethics and Research under CAAE number 05818412.4.0000.5243. Results: it was observed that nursing professionals of both sectors suffer various stressful situations in their working environment, overloading and stressing. Conclusion: there must be done many things to avoid these stressful situations for both the professional nursing and other professionals since the occupational stress can cause serious problems for the worker's health.

Objectives: to raise the diagnosis of elderly nursing in nursing consultation and relate those diagnostics with the results of neurological test. Method: a documental research with 8 elderly of age or older than 60 years old of the program participants of health care of elderly and diagnosed with alzheimer's disease. There were used forms of consultations of nursing, and neurological and cognition tests between may to october 2011; they were statistically treated and with cep no. 0239.0.258.000-11. Results: the nursing diagnosis was the chronic confusion with test results for evaluation of immediate memory, incidental and late. Risk of falls was related to the watch test. Poor knowledge was related to recognition of figures and evaluation of learning. Standard prejudiced sleep, risk of solitude and chronic sadness helped to diagnose depression. Conclusion: this work allowed establishing relationship between nursing diagnosis with neurology for planning of nursing care.

Objective: To compare the functional capacity of adult and elderly patients with venous ulcers. Method: cross-sectional observational study in Antônio Pedro University Hospital/UFF. The subjects are adult and elderly patients with tissue damage. The instruments were: protocol unit, Katz and Lawton scales with data processed statistically. Results: 35 patients have participated. Compared with adult clients, the data obtained in the scale of Lawton and Katz confirm that the elderly client has a lower degree of functional capacity. It is worth noting that the adult subjects have a worrying degree of dependence because of work activities that could be running in their daily lives. Conclusion: it is essential that the client also knows his illness and be a co-participant in the treatment process to know what to expect and when in every situation, contributing thus to their adaptation to the new reality as verified the results of the instruments used.

Objective: To validate the informative booklet as Educational Technology (ET) on care for the elderly with dementia by nurses and nursing students. Method: Transversal observational study quantitative, in which the setting was a higher education institution in the state of Rio de Janeiro, whose subjects were teachers and nursing students with data collection period of 04/04/12 to 30/06/12. Results: The validation of the booklet was satisfactory in the analysis of the evaluators, as most of the responses received adequate concepts did not show significant variations. Regarding the valuation parameter in their assessment items in large part the booklet has reached agreement on the concepts the goal. Conclusion: The validated primer can contribute to the care of people with dementias, preventing complications, development of skills of its users and promotes nursing autonomy and motivation to create new educational technologies.
