"This book addresses the role leaders play in the outcomes of post conflict resolution measures and peacebuilding. It explores how relationships between national leaders influence post-conflict resolution or peacebuilding and provides a reference for conflict resolution and peacebuilder scholar-practitioners and educators that challenge practitioners to examine best practices through a leadership lens"--

Demand for intelligence education has surged since the terrorist attacks on the United States of 11 September 2001 (9/11). There are many drivers. The ongoing threat of terrorism has increased the consumer base of national security intelligence, which now includes thousands of state and local law enforcement officials, as well as security managers of public infrastructure and business enterprises. Government reviews of Intelligence Community (IC) performance prior to 9/11 and the Allied invasion of Iraq in 2003 have thrust the secret world of intelligence into the public spotlight. Policymakers routinely cite intelligence to justify the preemptive use of force. This brief survey of the U.S. market for intelligence education and training that is available to meet this demand focuses on the education of prospective or practicing intelligence professionals and users of intelligence within the U.S. government.
