Economic returns on education received on mainland China for workers employed in free market economy
In: Issues & studies: a social science quarterly on China, Taiwan, and East Asian affairs, Band 25, Heft 11, S. 126-139
ISSN: 1013-2511
The paper attempts to explore the earnings of new immigrants from mainland China to Hong Kong. These immigrants received their education in mainland China but are now employed in a relatively free labour market, that of Hong Kong. Through this study it is hoped that the economic returns of an education received in mainland China can be estimated. (DÜI-Sen)
