This paper intends to problematize and analyze, in a metahistorical way, the treatment that tourist studies have had as an object of study emphasizing some Latin American particularities in the post-war scenario. Far from being exhaustive and exclusive, it takes as its starting point a vacancy area of literature with a reflexive imprint, in which general historiographic debates and, a posteriori, more specific field discussions are combined. In this sense, it is proposed to break up a type of history, loaded with continuity and coherence, to give rise, bias, deficits and power relations. Specifically, from a review of the literature, it was identified that within the historical tourist studies a tendency to be rationalist, gradualist and consensual prevails, marked by a narrative with westernized and English-speaking hegemony, resorting to baggy and narrow historiographic sources. But far from closing and pretending to make a totalizing proposal, the work points to the need to deepen disciplinary reflexivity exercises in relation to the construction, reconstruction and deconstruction of historical narratives. El presente artículo constituye un trabajo de investigación básica deconstructivo que busca estimular reflexión crítica a partir de un doble alcance. En primera instancia, persigue interpelar las formas tradicionales de abordar la integración a partir de la incorporación de la tesis de lo "multi" incluyendo una complejidad: multiescalar, multiformal, multidimensional, multinivel, multiactoral y multicausal. Por otro lado, busca analizar las potencialidades integrativas en las que puede devenir un proceso de integración a partir del uso turístico del patrimonio. En este sentido, se posiciona al turismo y al patrimonio como estrategias que, bajo ciertos marcos y condiciones, pueden contribuir a fortalecer multidimensionalmente un proceso de integración. Se reivindica, por tanto, al uso turístico del patrimonio como una estrategia política que trasciende la óptica comercialista y, en su defecto, imbrica diferentes dimensiones y distintos actores en dicho proceso. Metodológicamente, se partirá de un análisis y triangulación bibliográfica interdisciplinar y, a los efectos de considerar correlato empírico, se considerarán los resultados alcanzados en la tesis de maestría en 2016: "El uso turístico del patrimonio jesuítico-guaraní en Mercosur. Una oportunidad de Integración regional" (IIL - UNLP). ; This article constitutes a work of basic deconstructive research which seeks to stimulate critical reflection from a double scope. In the first instance, challenges the traditional ways of addressing the integration and includes the thesis of "multiple", introducing a complexity: multiescalar, multiformal, multidimensional, multilevel, actor and multicausal event. On the other hand, it seeks to analyze the integrative potentialities in which an integration process can become from the touristic use of heritage. In this sense, tourism and heritage are positioned as strategies that, under certain frameworks and conditions, can contribute to multidimensionally strengthen a process of integration. Therefore, the touristic use of the heritage is claimed as a political strategy that transcends the commercialist optics and, in its defect, imbricate different dimensions and different actors in that process. Methodologically, it will begin from an interdisciplinary bibliographic analysis and triangulation and, for the purposes of considering empirical correlate, it will consider the master's thesis (2016) called "The tourist use of heritage Jesuit-Guarani in Mercosur. Frente a la polisemia que caracteriza al concepto de populismo, en tanto categoría de estudio, el presente trabajo intenta aproximarse al papel que tuvo la actividad turística para dos de los gobiernos considerados clásicos, la primera presidencia de Perón en Argentina y la de Getúlio Vargas en Brasil a partir del Estado Novo.En este marco, el problema que guiará el análisis estará centrada en indagar si existe un común denominador turístico, es decir, políticas turísticas comunes y afines a estos gobiernos, y con ello precisar aún más el marco ideológico en el cual se inserta la actividad. ; Facing the polysemy which characterizes the concept of populism, as a category of study, this paper attempts to approach the role that tourism had for two of the government considered as classics, the first presidency of Peron in Argentina and the government of Getúlio Vargas in Brazil from the Estado Novo.
