Managing Machine-Readable Archives: Progress with Description and Exchange Standards

Black Fatherhood, Adoption, and Theology: A Contextual Analysis and Response is a qualitative exploration into the complex intersection of Black fatherhood, adoption, and theology. It is primarily based on the narratives of three Black adoptive fathers who formally adopted non-kinship children. The book takes a closer look at these experiences through the three dominant phases of an adoption experience and gives specific attention to the sociological, psychological, and theological dynamics at play. Ultimately, the book provides a constructive pastoral theology of adoption that sets forth guidelines of care for this population of adoptive fathers as well as others with an experience of adoption

Cet article présente un cadre révisé du cycle de vie des coopératives agricoles afin d'expliquer pourquoi et comment certaines coopératives perdurent pendant de longues périodes. Ce cadre en cinq phases a été élaboré à l'issue d'un processus de recherche approfondi faisant appel à des approches inductives et déductives. L'article présente de nouvelles perspectives pour la longévité d'une coopérative qui est associée à de multiples facteurs, le principal étant la capacité à s'adapter et à atténuer les frictions et le factionnalisme entre les sous-groupes. La régénération des coopératives est facilitée par un processus d'essai et d'erreur connu sous le nom de « réinvention coopérative ».

Is there a propensity by Jewish scholars to misconstrue as actual history Gospel "facts" that are purely fictional? Jewish studies on the historical Jesus need to give due regard to the operation of "gospel dynamics": those skillful techniques by which early Christians reconceptualized Jesus' image to resolve theological and political challenges not from Jesus' ministry but instead from the Evangelists' later day. Four "favorite" topics of Jewish scholars serve as apt prisms for revealing such underlying dynamics: Jesus' Last Supper as a Passover meal, his Sanhedrin trial, his "blasphemy" verdict, and his pairing with Barabbas.
