Partindo da leitura de Madame Bovary de Gustave Flaubert, a autora analisa questões ligadas às diferentes experimentações do consumismo, em especial o modo como este fenômeno pode produzir mudanças mais amplas na autopercepção individual. Dos produtos fornecidos pelas abelhas, o mel é o mais conhecido e difundido. Foi um dos primeiros alimentos do homem, e praticamente todas as civilizações antigas o utilizaram como alimento e recurso medicinal. O presente trabalho teve como objetivo avaliar a utilização do mel de abelhas, por estudantes e servidores do Campus do IF Baiano de Governador Mangabeira e sensibilizar os mesmos sobre a importância do uso do mel. A coleta de dados ocorreu entre novembro de 2018 e março de 2019, através da aplicação de entrevistas estruturadas com 100 pessoas. Foi possível diagnosticar que 68% dos estudantes e 62% dos servidores informaram ter o hábito do consumo do mel, sendo que utilizam com maior frequência quando estão doentes. No Brasil o consumo per capita anual de mel é de apenas 300g. Quando foi questionado sobre o que motivaria esse baixo consumo, os estudantes (43%) indicaram que a falta de costume do uso do mel seria o motivo para essa realidade. Já 50% dos servidores informaram que a falta de conhecimento sobre a importância do mel seria a principal razão. Em relação às atividades de sensibilização no Campus foram realizadas 11 palestras, uma oficina para a preparação de receitas à base de mel e a produção de uma cartilha informativa sobre mel. Todas essas ações foram muito positivas e acredita-se que contribuíram para um aumento no consumo do mel, que é um alimento altamente nutritivo, e que pode substituir os adoçantes industrializados com a mesma eficiência de sabor e de forma muito mais saudável.

The aim of this paper was to analyze the influence of feelings of guilt and pride in the intention of buying green products by consumers considered sustainable. Guilt and pride are two constructs that shapes people's actions to avoid guilt-making behaviors and keep those proud, making it important to assess how these two constructs act when it comes to sustainability-related actions, in this case for green products. For this purpose, a descriptive quantitative research was used, with the survey of data performed through a survey and analyzed through multivariate statistics through the SPSS. The results showed that the emotion of guilt was identified as a stimulus factor for the purchase of green products, as a variable that would prevent the consumer to develop unsustainable behaviors, and the feeling of pride was not identified in the respondents, when researching the influence that exerts in the intention of consumers to buy green products. The result contributes to researches in sustainability field by corroborating and at the same time contrasting with research considered incipient that relate emotions to sustainable consumer behavior, opening opportunities for further research on the influence of emotions in consumers behavior in sustainability area.

As ideias que se apresentam nesse texto são oriundas de um estudo qualitativo caracterizado pela abordagem da pesquisaformação narrativa (auto)biográfica em educação realizada no primeiro semestre de 2021 envolvendo 10 (dez) estudantes do curso de Pedagogia de uma instituição da rede pública de ensino situada na cidade de Codó-Ma. O objetivo do estudo foi relacionar o ensino de história da educação com as memórias evocadas narrativamente na tessitura de aprendizagens, formação e construção do conhecimento científico por estudantes do curso de licenciatura em Pedagogia. Quanto aos dispositivos metodológicos, foram utilizados: fotografias de álbum de família, escritas narrativas e diário de pesquisa. Dentre os resultados encontrados, evidenciamos as múltiplas reflexões mediatizadas pela contação de histórias de vida que, percebidas por meio de fotografias de álbuns de famílias e escritas narrativas (auto)biográficas, consolidam aprendizagens em processos formativos. A ação de ver-se em uma imagem mobiliza experiências passadas, movimenta o presente e projeta ações futuras. Nessa interface, concluímos que os estudantes elaboram novas possibilidades para aprender e conhecer outros conhecimentos a respeito de si, da educação e da formação inicial para a docência.

Como os produtos sustentáveis são geralmente mais caros, o senso coletivo entende que os consumidores de baixa renda estão menos aptos a praticarem o consumo sustentável. A literatura do marketing tem explorado pouco a questão, visto que esses consumidores tendem a tomar decisões de compra mais respaldadas por critérios de autocontrole financeiro e de consciência de preço. Contudo, estudos apontam que tais decisões, mesmo quando tomadas sem estar relacionadas à sustentabilidade, geram efetivamente um consumo sustentável. Assim, esse trabalho buscou compreender como os consumidores de baixa renda, em suas decisões de compra, relacionam o autocontrole das despesas, a consciência de preço com o consumo sustentável. Com um corpus formado por 18 entrevistas em profundidade e apoiados numa análise de discurso funcional, nossos resultados apontaram a existência de três relações efetuadas pelos consumidores: eles entendem que contribuem com a sustentabilidade por gerar um menor descarte do lixo e provocar uma menor extração da matéria-prima e, ainda, ao fazê-lo, acreditam despertar o desejo de adoção de práticas ambientais. Concluímos que, ao estabelecer tais relações, possamos gerar práticas de consumo mais reflexivas, portanto, mais responsáveis em relação aos impactos ambientais causados por decisões de consumo.

Objective To conduct a systematic review and meta-analysis to verify the association between smartphone/tablet exposure and physical activity and sleep in children from 5 to 10 years old. Data Source: This study followed the guidelines of PRISMA (Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses) and included studies that met eligibility criteria based on the "PECO" strategy: participants (children from 5 to 10 years old), exposure (smartphone and tablet use), and outcome (physical activity and sleep). Study Inclusion and Exclusion Criteria The inclusion criteria were observational studies published in indexed scientific journals and written in Portuguese, English, and Spanish that verified the association of exposure to smartphones/tablets with physical activity and sleep in children aged 5 to 10 years of both sexes. Studies were considered eligible only if they met the previous criteria. Data Extraction: The search was conducted in January 2023 on databases from electronic journals without the restriction of the period. To meta-analyze were extracted and grouped using models of fixed and random effects, the coefficients Odds Ratio (OR), Beta (β), Standard Error (SE), and Confidence Intervals of 95% (95%CI). Data Synthesis: 2396 potentially relevant papers were identified, and 17 met the inclusion criteria. Results It can be verified that there was an inverse association between smartphones with physical activity and sleep. Studies indicate that for every additional hour of smartphone and tablet use, sleep can be expected to decrease by an average of 11 minutes (β = − 0.11; 95%CI = −0.13; −0.09). Children using smartphones and tablets were 1.79 times (OR = 1.79; 95%CI = 1.72-1.86) more likely to have shorter sleep duration and 1.53 times (OR = 1.53; 95%CI = 1.41-1.65) more likely to have worse sleep quality. Children with shorter smartphone and tablet usage were 1.19 times more likely to be active (OR = 1.19; 95% CI = 1.03-1.37). Conclusion Children of 5 to 10 years who are more often exposed to smartphones and tablets are prone to have worse quality and quantity of sleep, as well as less practice of physical activity. Health promotion actions can be encouraged based on the results, aiming to reduce the use time of these devices and improve children's health and quality of life.

Objectives: To identify the knowledge of nursing students in relation to palliative care and discuss the differential of this professional to the quality of care to the customer cancer at an advanced stage. Method: This is a descriptive study with qualitative approach. The study setting was a private university located in the city of Rio de Janeiro. The subjects were sixteen nursing students who were duly enrolled in the 9th and 10th periods, in the period of data collection. Results: Two emerged categories: Knowledge of academics about palliative care and the difficulties of dealing with death; and the Role of the Nurse in palliative care. Conclusion: We believe that good practice should be the result of dedication, the pursuit of scientific knowledge, and especially, the strengthening of the human being that exists in every professional. This feature is extremely important for the implementation of sentiment in care.

A bacaba é uma palmeira tropical nativa da Amazônia e possui um alto potencial de exploração. Seus frutos são consumidos na forma de polpa, de cor creme-leitosa e de sabor agradável. A caracterização da polpa foi realizada segundo os parâmetros físico-químicos de pH, umidade, cinzas, fibra alimentar, proteínas, lipídeos, carboidratos totais e valor energético. O comportamento reológico das suspensões foi avaliado através de um viscosímetro rotacional na temperatura de 25ºC e os modelos reológicos de Ostwald-de-Waele, Herschel-Bulkley, Mizrahi-Berk e Plástico de Binghan foram ajustados aos reogramas construídos a partir dos dados experimentais obtidos. A polpa de bacaba apresentou um caráter levemente ácido, pH médio de 5,27 ± 0,01, e elevados valores de umidade (84,29 ± 1,05 g 100 g-1), lipídeos (9,10 ± 0,58 g 100 g-1), fibra alimentar (5,60 ± 0,40 g 100 g-1) e valor energético (106,62 ± 9,45 kcal 100 g-1). As suspensões de bacaba na sua totalidade exibiram características pseudoplásticas. O modelo reológico de Ostwald-de-Waele foi o que melhor se ajustou aos dados experimentais para todas as suspensões, apresentando coeficientes de determinação acima de 95% e desvios médios relativos abaixo de 5%. A polpa de bacaba pura e diluída expôs indícios de comportamento de fluido dependente do tempo. A diluição e a adição de maltodextrina propiciaram diminuição da viscosidade aparente em comparação a polpa de bacaba pura. As suspensões de bacaba, exceto a bacaba pura, não apresentaram modificações de viscosidade aparente, em taxas de deformações aplicadas acima de 100 s-1.

Objective: to identify people's opinion about the coexistence with HIV bearer. Method: this was a descriptive research with a quantitative approach, held in Rio de Janeiro in 2011. The sample was randomly composed by 630 participants of the samba school parades, by applying a structured interview script. The data were tabulated, organized and analyzed using descriptive statistics; being approved by the CEP of the University Veiga de Almeida number 270/11. Results: the majority of respondents would not have protected sex with a person with HIV/AIDS; they consider that this person should always work and would not worry that their child studies with a virus carrier. Conclusion: The results indicate that living with a person with HIV at work or school, have higher acceptance than the maintenance of sexual relationship, and is necessary to highlight the importance of demystifying the subject.

Objectives: to know the perception of chronic renal patients undergoing hemodialysis about the disease, list
the expectations, changes and social relationships after the establishment of the diagnosis. Method: this is
a qualitative descriptive research approach developed in a hemodialysis unit in the Northeast of Brazil with
39 patients affected by CKF. A semi-structured interview guide was used for data collection. The study was
approved by the Ethics Committee for Research CAAE: 14153513.2.0000.5180, Case nº.147/431. Data were
analyzed with conceptual basis of the Collective Subject Discourse (CSD). Results: the categories that emerged
from the discourse of respondents were: Rim paralyzed; Lack of knowledge; limitations; optimism; hopelessness;
support; Prejudice and isolation. Conclusion: the daily life of hemodialysis patients requires changing eating
habits, water restrictions, travel is not possible because the frequency of sessions, work deprivation and activities
of daily living due to the weakness imposed by the treatment.

Objective: To analyze the scientific production about sexual practice in serodiscordant couples and highlight
the implications for nursing practice. Method: This is an integrative review conducted in the databases of
the Virtual Health Library, Lilacs, SciELO, Pubmed, CINAHL, and selected 12 articles that met the inclusion
criteria, published from 2009 to 2014. Results: Most articles were published in 2011 and 2013 nurses in
magazines Notebook Public Health Issues in Psychology and Journal of School Nursing USP; being a prevalent
descriptor, marriage. The publications were grouped into two themes: Sexual practices after HIV diagnosis;
serodiscordance and the emotional and sexual lives of HIV/AIDS: implications for nurses. Conclusions:
Nursing actions guided sexual orientation contribute to improving the quality of life of serodiscordant.
