Objective: To investigate Brazilian publications on leprosy program evaluations from the components: inputs,
processes, results and impact. Methods: Consultation in the LILACS database of the Virtual Health Library on the
keywords "leprosy", "evaluation". Inclusion Criteria: Publications from 2001 to 2008, in Portuguese and descriptor
"leprosy." Results: 27 approaches for components of input, process, outcome and impact studies in August of this
review. The process component prevailed with 41%. Of all approaches and inputs and outputs were performed in 26%
and 22% respectively and the impact component with the lowest percentage approaches 11%. Conclusion: The
evaluation must be present throughout the process of implementing a particular program.

Objectives: To identify the literature available evidence on the occurrence of pulmonary tuberculosis among nurses and TB control mechanisms existing in the hospital. Method: Integrative review of the databases LILACS and MEDLINE database thesis, USP, from 2000 to 2010. Results: The professionals most developed tuberculosis disease in the workplace were cited in 14 nurses (82.4%) cited medicine and in 03 (17.6%) of the articles analyzed in relation to other health professionals. Conclusion: It is extremely important to implement biosecurity measures in hospitals, and research of pulmonary tuberculosis infection in health professionals.

Objective: To identify in literature and education in allied health nursing practice can facilitate the process of nursing
care in the hospital. Method: Integrative Review held in LILACS database. The inclusion criteria considered in full
studies available in Portuguese, published in the last 10 years (2000 to 2010). Results: After reading and analyzing the
articles were drawn up three thematic categories: Health education and nursing; Educating through the vertical model
and horizontal, and the hospital. Conclusion: Knowledge can not simply be transferred, but instigated the educators in
this case, the individual client, the real subjects are the "building and rebuilding" the educator, both inserted in the
process of care and health education, is in the hospital or not.

Objective: To know the vaccination status for hepatitis B nursing staff who was involved in accidents with biological material. Method: This is an exploratory descriptive research with quantitative approach carried out in 259 sheets workers treated at the referral center for health professionals biological accident victims in the municipality of Rio de Janeiro. Results: We identified 173 (66.8%) professionals with hepatitis B immunization schedule to complete. Being 27.0% nursing auxiliaries, nursing technicians, 61.4% and 11.6% nurses. Conclusion: It is evident the importance of implementation and project development of continuing education in all health institutions in order to educate nursing professionals regarding their own health on the unsanitary conditions of the routine nature of their functions and their potential risk of becoming infected with Hepatitis B.

Objectives: To describe and analyze the use of taxonomy CIPE to the nursing process based on Orem's theory to a patient who underwent a radical mastectomy. Method: a case study, performed with the 53 patients, female, hospitalized in anoncologyunitin the city of Rio de Janeiro in April2011. Results: There were identified the main nursing diagnoses according to the CIPE: skin integrity at risk, current pain in the right breast, risk to self-esteem and low self-care. Then we constructed the plan of care containing interventions and results proposed by CIPE. Conclusion: It was possible to combine the use of the theory of Dorothea Orem taxonomyas a tool associated with taxonomy CIPE, adapting itself to the form of planning of nursing care.

Objective: To describe the number of tuberculosis cases among employees of a university hospital in Niteroi, Rio de Janeiro, from 2004 to June 2011. Methods: This is a descriptive retrospective study, conducted from data obtained in the files of compulsory notification of employees. Results: 10 records were found of reported cases of TB in the period 2004 to 2011, with eight male employees, the average ages were 53 years old of professional standard deviation of 7.8 and compared to the average length of service was 21 years with a standard deviation of 9.2. Conclusion: there was an improvement in reported cases of tuberculosis, but we cannot guarantee this fact only to the implementation of the TB program at the University Hospital, but also to cases of probable subnotifications because even the stigma of tuberculosis.
