For the qualitative prediction of dynamic properties of new constructions, elaborate finite element or multi body simulation models are frequently applied. This paper deals with coupling calculations that combine analytical and experimental models. With these coupling calculations better predictions of dynamic properties are possible and less modeling effort is needed. This is particularly true if simple design adaptions or modifications shall be realized.
