ABSTRACTThe process of integration of Ukraine into the european community implies the adaptation of the legal framework, as well as important transformations of the social relations established in its population. The study demonstrates the most acute aspects of normative support for labor protection in Ukraine and presents possible ways of reforming the legislation based on the successful experience of the EU countries. The conceptual basis of the reformed legislation of Ukraine should be the protection of the rights of employees, as these rights are most often violated.RESUMENEl proceso de integración de Ucrania en la comunidad europea implica la adaptación del marco legal, así como importantes transformaciones de las relaciones sociales establecidas en su población. El estudio demuestra los aspectos más agudos del apoyo normativo a la protección laboral en Ucrania y presenta posibles formas de reformar la legislación basándose en la exitosa experiencia de los países de la UE. La base conceptual de la legislación reformada de Ucrania debe ser la protección de los derechos de los empleados, ya que estos derechos se infringen con mayor frecuencia.

This study assesses the existing initiatives of the Ukrainian government in the field of regulation of standardization and certification, related to the implementation of the EU-Ukraine Association Agreement, and the adaptation of Ukrainian legislation to European standards. The study intends to identify the challenges that may create barriers for Ukrainian businesses in this area and to determine the areas and prospects of the politically motivated regulation related to their overcoming. Considering the evolution of regulation in the relevant area in Ukraine, the study gives grounds to assert that in recent years the government has made significant efforts in adapting national standards of a technical regulation to the EU legislation, which are related to simplification of standardization and certification procedures and access to both EU and Ukrainian markets. In practical terms, this study is of interest not only to lawyers but also for all businesses focusing both on European and Ukrainian markets.

The study analyzes the national standardization and supply chain strategy system, namely, the changes that occur in connection with the economic part of the Ukraine-European Union Agreement, harmonization of the relevant regulatory framework of Ukraine with the European Union standards. It was revealed that the main obstacles to the free movement of goods and services are technical barriers rather than trade impediments. In order to coordinate EU technical regulations and the system of technical regulations in Ukraine (in the process of implementing the economic policy of European integration), the evolution of the formation of these systems was traced. The analysis of the international economic integration showed that it is most effectively and deeply implemented provided that a relatively small number of countries that have close and established trade and economic relations, as well as almost the same level of development, are united. In addition, the research described the integrity of the technical regulation system in the EU countries and its fundamental difference in terms of its perception and actual functioning in Ukraine. It has been noted that the reform of the legislation, principles, and infrastructure of the technical regulation system, standardization and supply chain strategy is aimed at improving the safety, quality and competitiveness of Ukrainian products; protecting the life and health of citizens; simplifying business climate; balancing current distortions and imbalances; introducing innovations through the application of international standards and the removal of technical barriers. However, the analysis of the basic laws of Ukraine on foreign economic activity revealed a number of problems associated with the formation of the economic policy of European integration, in particular the lack of a shared vision of the country's economic development and the formation of the concept, values, principles, and economic policy of European integration.
