Anti-Yugoslavism as an anti-Serbian platform for political and military cooperation between the Ustashas and communists within the Kingdom of Yugoslavia and during the war on the territory of the Independent State of Croatia
In: Nacionalni interes, Band 47, Heft 1, S. 91-117
ISSN: 1452-2152
The anti-Yugoslavism of the communist and Ustasha's movements, which was one of the dominant political postulates but also a serious action platform between the two wars, has already been partially written about in our historiography. What we want to draw attention to is the fact that behind such anti-Yugoslavism, sometimes hidden and sometimes publicly, anti-Serbism was highlighted as the common denominator of the political actions of both ideological options. Although differently politically motivated and ideologically explained, in the last resort of the Ustashas and communists, anti-Yugoslavism was essentially anti-Serbian. It is precisely this relationship that we want to analyze in the first part of our work assignment, while we will, first of all, present their active and coordinated cooperation in the second part using examples during the Second World War that most often took place on the territory of the Independent State of Croatia, because Josip Broz's partisans spent most of the time of the war staying in that territory, with abundant logistical support, coordination and tolerance of all state and military formations of Pavelic's criminal regime.
Posthumanism: History, goals and imminent perils
In: Srpska politička misao: Serbian political thought, Band 85, Heft 3, S. 7-24
The Paper studies the origin, development, main representatives, and basic characteristics of the posthumanist movement, its normative positions and goals (including its relation towards technology and nature), as well as the similarities and differences between modern posthumanism and transhumanism. In order to compare the posthumanist movement with humanistic modernism and notice their basic similarities and differences, which are crucial for understanding the relationship of man and technology towards natural conditions, the second part of the Paper points out the basic characteristics of modern humanistic anthropocentrism and its attitude towards technique. The final part of the Paper concerns the critique of posthumanism from the perspective of Christian personalism, which opens up possibilities for us to have a different view of the problems of postmodern living that posthumanism wants to overcome.
Geopolitics of Health – Subdisciplinary Research of Medical Science and Health Systems Manipulations in the Context of Geopolitics as a Synthetic Science
In: Kultura polisa: časopis za negovanje demokratske političke kulture = The culture of polis : journal for nurturing of democratic political culture, Band 20, Heft 1, S. 1-15
ISSN: 2812-9466
The authors of this paper begin by defining geopolitics as a synthetic science, as well as applied geopolitics, constituted in the theoretical level of geopolitics, in an attempt to point to the existing subdisciplines that are already constituted and which categorical-conceptual and methodological apparatus is used for analysis of special, isolated phenomena, such as identity, cyberspace, emotions, etc. Starting from the fact that geopolitics is a complex synthetic science that develops its theoretical steps forward towards constitution of new disciplinary and subdisciplinary dimensions, the authors strive towards constituting a new, original subdiscipline defined as "geopolitics of health". We are speaking of a discipline of applied geopolitics (applicative geopolitics) that deals with research of the impact of socio-geographical, economic and political factors on endangering health as a public good in the context of geopolitics as synthetic science. Thus, geopolitics of health is a pioneer subdiscipline of geopolitics that researches, analyses and synthetizes the acquired results in order to distinguish possible abuse of medical science and health system by corruptive individuals, interest groups, health authorities, pharmaceutical industries, legal regulations and official state and international organizations' policies, which all, in some way, deal with the issue of human health. Using the method of analysis and synthesis, the method of deduction and the geopolitical method, we strive to lay the foundation for further research advances in the context of geopolitics as a synthetic science.
The geopolitical and security aspects of the Kosovo-Metohija knot
In: Vojno delo: interdisciplinarni naučni časopis : interdisciplinary science magazine, Band 74, Heft 3, S. 3-16
ISSN: 2683-5703
Due to the intertwined and parallel interests of the great powers in Kosovo and Metohija, a kind of geopolitical knot has been created, as a field of aggressive geopolitical actions by non-Balkan and Balkan neighbouring political factors, which is reflected in current events, making them politically and security complex. After 2008, we have witnessed the unilaterally recognized so-called independence of Kosovo, which continued the process of internal transition and territorial fragmentation of Serbia that is clearly marked as a challenge and threat even in the current geopolitical and security context. Therefore, the paper has tried to show and explain the importance of the southern Serbian province, first of all emphasizing its geographical and geopolitical importance as a central area on the Balkan Peninsula, which makes it very important for the control of traffic, economic, communication, strategic and other corridors. The second part of the paper presents a geopolitical analysis of the current events in the south of Serbia and the consequences for the country's internal political structure and international position. In addition, the security aspects of the Kosovo-Metohija knot have been analysed, with a focus on national security and security problems caused by the violent exclusion of the Serbian territory and the self-proclamation of the so-called independence of Kosovo, in order to find sustainable solutions for the security situation in the south of Serbia.

Belgian consociative democracy, an outline for the portrait of 'unsuccessful' federalism
The paper tries to mark basic characteristics of political system of Belgium, horizontal organization of authorities on federal level, as well as constitutional but also political contradictions affecting this country and threatening it with constitutional-political dissolution for more than a decade. The character of Belgian consociative democracy has been particularly stressed as an 'unsuccessful' model - negotiation process, which, despite its flexibility, could not stop and calm down current disputes and debates on the character of federal order of Belgian Monarchy and its uncertain future. .
