This article presents a new career construct, intrapreneurial self‐capital, and provides empirical evidence to verify it. Intrapreneurial self‐capital is defined as a core of individual intrapreneurial resources used to cope with career and life construction challenges and includes dimensions of core self‐evaluation, hardiness, creative self‐efficacy, resilience, goal mastery, decisiveness, and vigilance. The Intrapreneurial Self‐Capital Scale was developed to measure this new construct. It was administered to 171 Italian high school students, and confirmatory factor analysis supported the existence of the construct and its dimensions. Intrapreneurial self‐capital is a construct that will be useful for further research as well as for use in career interventions.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the role of personality traits and emotional intelligence in relation to organizational justice. The Organizational Justice Scale, the Eysenck Personality Questionnaire–Revised Short Form, and the Bar‐On Emotional Quotient Inventory were administered to 384 Italian nurses. The emotional intelligence dimensions explained a greater percentage of the incremental variance in relation to the four organizational justice dimensions (distributive: ΔR2= .11; procedural: ΔR2= .12; interpersonal: ΔR2= .19; informational: ΔR2= .16) with respect to personality traits (distributive: R2= .06; procedural: R2= .08; interpersonal: R2= .12; informational: R2= .09). The results highlight the role of emotional intelligence in explaining organizational justice, thereby offering new research and intervention perspectives.

This study examined the effectiveness of group‐based career counseling using the Career Interest Profile (CIP). The study used an experimental design involving 2 groups of Italian university students: an experimental group (42 participants) who received narrative career counseling and a control group (47 participants) who did not. Results indicated more specific life and occupational goals after the intervention among members of the experimental group in addition to a decrease in career decision‐making difficulties and an increase in career decision‐making self‐efficacy, thus suggesting the value of group‐based career counseling on the basis of the principles embodied in the CIP.
