The study assesses the level of integration of public health measures into national climate change adaptation strategies or action plans in the EU 28 countries in 2017-8, as part of the Pagoda WHO project. Areas covered in the analysis are: governance and policies on climate change and health impact, vulnerability assessment of climate change, integrated climate information into infectious disease surveillance, early warning systems for extreme weather, recent projects on climate change and human health, health effects of climate change, best practices, main risks and priorities protecting from climate change. A qualitative approach was applied in this research study based on responses of 20 questionnaires of WHO European Member States. 15 of the responding countries had developed a climate change health adaptation strategy and an associated implementation plan (75%), and these were approved by the government in 13 countries (65%). The results revealed certain specific areas for technical improvement mainly in strengthening of capacities to ascertain the climate- sensitive disease burden in populations.

Violence against women, including sexual violence, is one of the most serious forms of violation of human rights - the right to life, the right to physical and mental integrity, the right of equal protection and the right to protection from all forms of discrimination. Following the preliminary knowledge of the frequentness of sexual violence in marriage and intimate relationships, which because of its sensitive nature is rarely reported and even harder to prove, the purpose of this work is, through a discursive analysis of the social context and structures in which it manifests itself, to penetrate deep into the roots of this form of violence, which can not be treated as a private issue of intimate partners. Also, through the analysis of the legislation in the Republic of Macedonia, as well as the existing mechanisms and the concrete measures taken, this work should also show what has been done and what needs to be done in terms of dealingwith this form of gender-based violence. Keywords: sexual violence, marriage, intimate relationships, patriarchate, gender stereotypes.

A total of 30 themes emerged during the coding and were grouped in 6 main domains - Institutional, organizational and management settings; Financial issues; Education; Normative regulations; Professionalism,Quality of care and services-which jointly gave an insight to the perception about accreditation of health care organizations in Macedonia on a tertiary level. We can conclude that the healthcare providers in our study perceive accreditation as a tool, which can catalyze the process towards improving the overall performances in a healthcare organization towards achieving the end goal to deliver quality services to the patients. The healthcare system in the Republic of Macedonia has planned to commence accreditation of the healthcare organizations. The Government of Macedonia chose to establish its own hospital accreditation systems. The objective of this study is to understand the attitudes of healthcare professionals in hospitals in Macedonia, to gain understanding of the value of accreditation on quality of care as perceived by the staff members and the possible strategies to improve implementation of accreditation , in a pre-accreditation period in R. Macedonia. We chose a qualitative research method and study explorative in nature to see the perceptions and opinions of providers. We used purposive sampling and included health care providers from tertiary health care level. Semi-structured interviews with open questions were used as research tools.
