This publication presents the results of wave survey of Kyiv residents on their social and political moods and electoral activity and orientations regarding the participation in the elections to the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, and of the Mayor of Kyiv.

Electoral sentiments and electoral behavior were analyzed based on the monitoring results of electoral sentiments and exit polls, in particular, exit polls data obtained on the election day of the President of Ukraine, electoral sentiments monitoring between the elections of the President of Ukraine and the Verkhovna Rada elections, and exit polls on the day of Parliamentary elections. The macroregional analysis is performed, depending on the voter's age and type of settlement.

On self-assessment of Ukraine's population are analyzed the trends and dynamics of its financial position, size of the shadow income and financial behavior, satisfaction with their lives during 1993–2013.

Presented the results of the Ukrainian population survey concerning the state and the main priorities of government social policy, the idea of social justice and its compliance.

The article summarizes the results of sociological research of ethnographic nature concerning description of modern behavioral practices of men who have sex with men (MSM). Reconstruction of prevalent behavioral practices of MSM carried out on the basis of evidence of the representatives of the national MSM community for their further consideration in the context of priority setting and strategy improvement of prevention programs for MSM.

The article analyzes the electoral behavior of voters at the recent parliamentary elections, especialities of the electorate of the main political forces,as well as evaluation of the results by voters. This article also provides a comparative analysis of the results of the exit poll obtained by different methods of data collection: direct survey and imitation of the ballot voting.
