La prise en charge des élèves en situation de handicap en milieu scolaire, et plus particulièrement en éducation physique et sportive ( eps ), ne fait pas exception et montre ce décalage entre une prescription du législateur et les pratiques enseignantes.

AbstractLuxembourg politics in 2022 was marked by the economic consequences of Russia's war against Ukraine. The government responded through policy packages negotiated with social partners. The decade‐long process of revamping the Constitution finally came to an end, and new measures were taken to allow for greater participation of foreign residents in local politics. The year 2022 was indeed a pre‐electoral year, as both local and national elections are scheduled for 2023. Parties started to prepare for these important deadlines through personnel movements.

AbstractLuxembourg politics in 2021 was again largely determined by the evolution of the Covid‐19 pandemic and its response by public authorities, with an easing of restrictions which was followed by the adoption of stricter measures due to the emergence of the Omicron variant. This sequence caused an outcry in the population, with protests that sometimes became violent. The three‐party coalition government was also shaken, at the end of the year, by the decision of three of its ministers to resign from their position. After changes of ministerial personnel within The Greens/Déi Gréng delegation in previous years, this time the turnover (set to become official in 2022) concerned the Socialists/Lëtzebuerger Sozialistesch Aarbechterpartei and the Democratic Pary/Demokratesch Partei. But 2021 was also a particularly difficult year for the historically dominant party of the Grand Duchy, the Christian‐Social People's Party/Chrëschtlech‐Sozial Vollekspartei, in opposition since 2013, but still the largest party in Parliament, as it saw its leader forced out of office.

After one year of interruption that followed three years of elections and referendum,Luxembourgish voters were again invited to the polls, this time to select their localrepresentatives. The local elections confirmed the positive trend of the Christian SocialPeople's Party (CSV), continued losses for Luxembourg's Socialist Workers' Party (LSAP)and a stabilization of the other parties. While the issue of identity and language was notat the centre of the local campaign, fears concerning the loss of language and identity dueto economic and population growth (essentially from resident foreigners and commuters)continued to haunt political debates throughout the year. These fears were fuelled by thenew movementWee 2050-Nee 2015that supports the protection of the Luxembourgishlanguage and identity, and the controversies surrounding the new nationality law thatsimplifies the access to the Luxembourgish nationality, the introduction of a bilingualeducation (French and Luxembourgish) in nurseries, and the governmental action plan topromote the Luxembourgish language.Finally,2017 was marked by the adoption of the long-awaited reform of the Council of State and important social reforms

The year 2015 was a paradoxical one for Luxembourg. Its first half saw the government carrying its task of 'nation branding', trying to change its image (of tax haven and socially conservative policies) with a step toward a greater separation between church and state, several potential constitutional reforms aimed at a more inclusive democracy, and more indirectly through Prime Minister Bettel, who married his male companion less than a year after the adoption of gay marriage in the Grand-Duchy. Popular resentment regarding the exclusion of the Christian Social People's Party (CSV) from government still loomed large, and partially explained the disastrous defeat of a consultative referendum for the tripartite coalition.

The year 2014 was characterised by the European elections and the difficult first steps of the three-party coalition headed by the Liberal Xavier Bettel. Some popular resentment for having excluded the Christian Social People's Party (CSV) from government, the poor election returns for the governing parties at the European elections, critiques regarding its governing methods as well as its first budget cuts, and growing tensions in view of the referendum planned for 2015, all contributed to give the new government a very short honeymoon period.

This paper analyses the electoral usage and impact of smartvote.lu, the first Voting Advice Application (VAA) introduced in Luxembourg at the occasion of the 2009 national elections. We devise a series of expectations regarding the use and impact of the instrument and provide both descriptive and multivariate analyses on data drawn from a 'classical' post-electoral survey representative of all voters. Despite the need for studies using this type of empirical material and multivariate methods to draw valid lessons on the determinants of VAA use and the potential electoral impact of these devices, such a combination is still rare in the nascent literature on VAAs, and arguably allows us to make a valuable contribution to it. Our main finding is that the most educated are more likely to use the VAAs but less likely to be influenced by it.
