This research was conducted to determine the nature of Binci-binciki kuli (norms) in the Government of the Sultanate of Buton, this study used normative research that used library data or primary legal materials and secondary legal materials as well as tertiary legal materials. The results of this study indicate that the essence of Binci-binciki kuli (norms) of the government of the Sultanate of Buton contained in the Binci-binciki Kuli philosophy (pinch each other will feel pain) is formally listed in the Seven Dignity Constitution. It is recommended to preserve the value of the government of the Sultanate of Buton which are contained in the Binci-binciki Kuli philosophy (pinch each other will feel pain), which contains the principles of equality, equality and justice.
Jakarta has a role as the center of government, trade, tourism center and as services city with its development including the rapid growth of the population of Jakarta province which affects to the growing cases of health, social, political, economic, and others. One of common occurred cases is the case of a medical emergency in the phase of pre-hospital or outside of the hospital environment which have some causes such as by traffic accident, occupational accident, acute illness, household accident, disaster and mass casualties. In 2015 it was recorded that there were increased and decreased 118 Ambulance service users. This research is a descriptive survey research through a quantitative approach. The research was conducted in October 2015. The number of respondents in this study was 75 respondents. The sampling technique used in this research was non probability sampling especially purposive sampling. The analysis tool that was used is Importance Performance Analysis (IPA). Data processing used SPSS 16.0.
The purpose of this research is to give empirical evidence of the impact of management commitment, resources, legislative mandate, management innovation, and reward/incentive on performance measurement. This research data was collected through a Google Form, in which 64 questionnaires were sent to the Head of the Planning Subdivision and their staff in each of the Regional Apparatus Organizations in the South Tangerang City Government. With the technique used, census sampling, this study took a quantitative approach employing non-probability sampling. Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) using PLS version 3.0 was used to evaluate the data. Management commitment and legislative mandate have a considerable impact on performance measurement. Meanwhile, resources, management innovation, and reward/incentive do not. This study has implications for local governments in terms of describing how performance measurement is carried out based on institutional factors, as well as making recommendations for improving local government performance measurements in the future to make them more reliable, effective, and efficient.
This study discussed the politicization of language through euphemisms that conducted at the time of news broadcasts on television stations by noticing the background of the use of the euphemisms. Euphemism in the mass media is not merely aimed at replacing taboo words, but rather is ideological politics. The problem raised in this study was "How was the politicization of language through euphemisms in news programs on television in terms of its use?". The purpose of this study was to describe the form and function of politicizing the meaning of words through euphemisms in news programs contained on television. This research was a descriptive research. Data analysis was performed using content analysis and then explained in accordance with the research findings. Based on the results of the study, the authors found that politicized euphemisms in the TVone news program amounted to 30 euphemisms with several reasons why the euphemisms were chosen and used include: (1) to smooth out words so that other people are not offended, (2) to keep things secret, (3) for diplomacy or berororis, (4) to disguise meaning, (5) to avoid panic and fear, (6) to respect others.
Promoting gender equality has become a globally recognized and accepted reality. Gender issues have also been identified as essential for the achievement of national development goals. In fact, the achievement of gender equality is seen not only as an end in itself, but also as a catalyst and sine qua non for the achievement of sustainable development. This study tries to assess the level of achievement of gender equality and women's empowerment using three important indicators, namely: participation in education at the primary, secondary and tertiary levels, employment and political decision-making, utilizing valuable secondary data sources. This study uses a qualitative method which is analyzed with a descriptive approach. The resource person is the owner of Cirebon Home Made. At the heart of the problem of gender inequality in Indonesia is the dilemma of the Indonesian government to take a decision to reduce the problem of expanding the level of capacity needed to increase the opportunity to accommodate the different needs of the two. Para also argues that the achievement of gender equality in Indonesia, which has been limited by time, will be a mirage due to multidimensional inhibiting factors. This research rests on the actualization of gender equality and women's empowerment on the desires and necessities of a pragmatic approach.
This article examines the role of Al-Baqiyatush Shalihat Tanjung Jabung Barat—Islamic Jambi's (Boarding School) Pesantren in promoting tolerance and deterring radicalism. When the surrounding environment is so plural with many religions other than Islam, this pesantren remains true to the principles of tolerance and is not fanatical. When the region around the pesantren drew public attention as a hotbed of radicalism and terrorism, the pesantren continued to instill kindness, anti-radicalism, and anti-terrorism. In the fight against radicalism and terrorism, this pesantren collaborates with the local government. In this article, the major question is how the pesantren strategy instills tolerance values in efforts to deradicalize or counter-terrorism acts. The research relied heavily on observation, which was supplemented by interviews with Kyai and Ustadz, students, and neighbors in the vicinity of the pesantren. The Pesantren Al-Baqiyatush Shalihat, according to this study, has the natural ability to oppose radicalism through the use of the Pesantren Al-Baqiyatush Shalihat.
AbstractPurpose of this study is to explore information about financial governance, policies and empowerment systems carried out by the relevant village government, map the constraints of implementing MSME empowerment in the Tourism Village area, then make the right pattern/model for empowering MSMEs in the Tourism Village area in Gresik Regency. The method used in this research is qualitative in the hope of digging deeper into the information needed to answer the objectives of the research. The object of this research is Sekapuk Gresik Village, which is known as the billionaire village. The results showed that the empowerment of MSMEs in Sekapuk Tourism Village came from the independent management of the PKK. The synergy between the PKK and the Village Government is a milestone in the independence of the MSME empowerment policy and management system. The role of the Village Government is to provide facilities and stimulation for the independence of the sustainability of MSMEs under the PKK. Peran Pemerintah Desa memberikan fasilitas dan stimulasi untuk kemandirian keberlangsungan UMKM dibawah PKK. This study focuses on the use of vocabulary in tajuk rencana of Kompas. Ultilization of certain vocabulary by newspaper can form a reality or different views on a thing or event. Through this research, the writer tries to observe how the use of vocabulary in shaping the public's view or called the construction or reality, so that it is illustrated that vocabulary in a medium plays an important role in shaping the understanding of the audience or readers. The problem that is focused is "How is the reality contruction through the use of vocabulary in tajuk rencana of Kompas?" By doing this research in the end the writer can describe the utilization of vocabulary that forms a certain reality. From the data found in this study, it can be concluded that the use of vocabulary in tajuk rencana of Kompas based on constructing a positive reality and image to the government, many thing or events are describe classification vocabulary, which tend to benefit the government and marginalize other parties. So, it is clear that there is a practice of language in every sense.
The research entitled "Riau Malay Language, Kampar Dialect: Overview of Morphological Forms" was motivated by minor attention of Kampar society, especially the younger generation towards the language. The phenomenon happened because of the cultural assimilation of the Kampar society with other communities. Moreover, there were exiguous observers of the Riau Malay Language of Kampar dialect. Therefore, this research was conducted with the purpose of describing the basic nouns and nouns derivation from the Riau Malay language Kampar Dialect: An Overview of Morphological Forms. This Research was considerable to be done to find out the background of life and culture that is closely related to government programs to preserve the regional culture in Indonesia. This research was also expected relevant for the development and research of languages which are feared to be extinct if they are not published since now. In addition, it supported the fostering and development of national languages, especially in the enrichment and vocabulary of Indonesian languages as well as documenting the Malay language profile of the Kampar dialect so that it does not experience a shift or even extinction. This research was a qualitative type of field research and uses ethnographic methods. This research was conducted in Muara Selaya Village, Kampar Kiri District, Kampar Riau Regency. Research data in the form of words gathered from the informant's speech. Data collection were done by observation, record, see competent involvement, collaboration. Analyzing the data were done by reducing, presenting data, and drawing final conclusions. The results of this study were basic nouns consisting of general basic nouns and special basic nouns such as ayi 'water', asoʔ 'smoke', ujan ' rainy ', anjiʸaŋ 'dog', and padusi 'female' while Malay nouns derived from the Kampar dialect Malay among them -an in Aŋsuŋan 'instalment payment', -wan in Baŋsawan 'aristocrats', ka-an in the kacomean 'anxiety', ke-an in kelurahan administrative village', pe- in petani 'farmer', pa- in padagang 'merchant, pany- in panyogan ' lazy', and pa-an in pajonjiyan 'agreement'.
Kajian ini menganalisis kinerja ekspor Crude Palm Oil (CPO) dan Palm Kernel Oil (PKO) Indonesia diantara negara-negara produsen kelapa sawit, dan kinerja ekspor CPO dan PKO Indonesia ke beberapa negara tujuan ekspor utama. Metode analisis yang digunakan adalah indeks Revealed Comparative Advantage (RCA) dan Constant Market Share (CMS). Berdasarkan hasil analisis RCA menunjukkan bahwa kinerja ekspor CPO dan PKO Indonesia lebih rendah dibandingkan dengan Malaysia dan Thailand, tetapi sama dengan Colombia. Sementara hasil dari analisis CMS, kinerja ekspor CPO dan PKO cenderung menurun dibandingkan dengan pertumbuhan ekspor seluruh produk dunia. Disamping itu, parameter dari efek komposisi produk, efek distribusi pasar maupun efek daya saing, masih banyak yang bernilai negatif. Beberapa hal yang perlu dilakukan oleh pemerintah dalam meningkatkan daya saing dan kinerja ekspor baik CPO maupun PKO adalah kebijakan yang mendukung pengembangan ekspor CPO maupun PKO dengan mempertimbangkan daya saing hilirisasi industri sawit, peningkatan kualitas CPO dan PKO yang sesuai dengan standar negara yang menjadi tujuan ekspor. The study analyzes the export performance of Indonesia's Crude Palm Oil (CPO) and Palm Kernel Oil (PKO) among palm oil producers and the performance of Indonesia's CPO and PKO exports in some major importing countries. The analytical methods used in this study are are Revealed Comparative Advantage (RCA) and Constant Market Share (CMS) indices. Based on RCA analysis, the performance of Indonesia's CPO and PKO exports are lower than those of Malaysia and Thailand, but it is still similar to to Colombia. Meanwhile, the CMS analysis shows that the performance of Indonesia's CPO and PKO exports tend to decrease compared to export growth of all the world products. In spite of these performances, the parameters from the effect of product composition, market distribution and competitiveness are still negative. Several ways that the government should perform to increase the competitiveness and performance of Indonesia's CPO and PKO exports are supporting policy to the development of CPO and PKO exports by considering the competitiveness of downstreaming palm oil industries, and improving the quality of them in compliance with the standard applied by the export destination countries.
The internet has changed the way employees get things done. However, many have not been on target regarding the use of the internet among employees. The availability of internet facilities in many organizations is used for personal gain or what is often referred to as cyberloafing behavior. General strain theory in this research is used to explain cyberloafing behavior. This behavior is not a criminal act but violates organizational regulations caused by organizational support and employee work stress. This study aims to assess the role of organizational support and reduce employee stress levels and cyberloafing behavior. The method used is in the form of PLS by involving 330 government employees in Lumajang Regency as a sample. The results showed that the organizational support felt by employees was able to reduce work stress. Employees who feel work stress will tend to behave cyberloafing. The existence of high organizational support has increased employee cyberloafing behavior. The higher the perceived organizational support, the lower the level of employee work stress, and cyberloafing behavior. An important finding in this study is that the general strain theory has been able to prove the existence of cyberloafing behavior caused by organizational support and employee work stress.
This study aims to examine regional tax, general allocation fund, special allocation fund, and capital expenditure as a mediating on regional financial independence. Regency/City in West Java Province was used as a sample in this study. The purposive sampling method was used in this study to select a sample of 27 districts/cities in West Java Province from 2016 to 2019. Hypotheses in this study were tested using Structural Equation Model using Smart PLS 3.0 software. This study results in Regional Tax, General Allocation Fund, and Special Allocation Fund have a significant effect on regional financial independence, while capital expenditure is not able to mediate the effect of regional tax, general allocation fund, and special allocation fund on regional financial independence. For Local Governments, it is expected to optimize local taxes through the improvement of adequate public services. Then, given that the composition of general allocation funds and special allocation funds is quite dominant, the funds should be optimized for the development sectors so that their use can be efficient which will encourage economic growth and indirectly increase regional financial independence.
This research aimed to find out factors which affected accountability of village fund allocation management in Bogor district. Population in this research was village heads and village secretaries in Bogor district. The hypotheses were tested using data surveys from 77 respondents. The analysis technique used multiple linear regression. The findings from this research indicated that the competence of village officials affected the accountability of village fund management. Whereas, society participation and supervisors had no effect on accountability in the management of village fund allocations. This research contributed to the use of village fund allocations in the Indonesian village government. The further research should the interview method to dig deeper into the management of village funds. In addition, further research is expected to expand research to not be only focused on villages in Bogor District.
