A presentation of the results of SD tests, conducted at the Coll of Soc Studies, Kenya, given to 333 S's from all parts of East Africa to: (1) make the S's aware of their own att's & prejudices; (2) show the conflict between att's & intellectual convictions; & (3) point out that most S's were 'in this situation', making prejudice a nat'l as well as a personal problem. The rank order of groups re degree of prejudicial att's, & att's to the British, are presented. These tests are valuable, providing evidence on which future action on integration & the position of minority groups can be based. Prejudice to outgroups is not drawn rigidly either on the basis of color or African oriein. D. Coonerman.
