The aim of this research is historicizing the implementation and development of physical education (PE) as a discipline and pedagogical practice in Chile between 1889 and 1920. The first date marks the beginning of compulsory PE in the school system, while the second indicates a greater intervention by the State to legislate and promote a State PE through the creation of specialized agencies. The study of the process of constitution of PEas a discipline and as a teaching practice requires the understanding of the political, cultural and social context that had an impact on their development, the debates about the pedagogical models to be taken, as well as the mechanisms through which such models should socialize through schooling. Finally, the understanding of the role that physical cultivation should play on the expansion project of the Chilean state at the beginning of the XXth century. ; El objetivo de esta investigación es historiar la implementación y el desarrollo de la educación física (EF) como una disciplina y práctica pedagógica en Chile entre los años 1889 y 1920. La primera fecha marca el inicio de la obligatoriedad de la enseñanza de la EF en el sistema escolar, mientras la segunda, indica una mayor intervención por parte del Estado en legislar y promover una EF estatal, a través de la creación de organismos especializados. En el estudio del proceso de constitución de la EF como una disciplina y práctica pedagógica interesa entender el contexto político, cultural y social que incidió en su desarrollo, los debates en torno a los modelos pedagógicos que se debían adoptar, así como los mecanismos a través de los cuales dichos modelos debían socializarse a través de la institución escolar. Summary: Industrial capitalism was characterised by the existence of a disciplinary society, which has now been replaced by the controlling society. The same is linked to information/technology by which employees' space, time and movements are monitored in order to generate their own control and thus achieve greater performance and productivity during their working hours. In this work, the subject matter of the analysis is solely the study of the employment relationships generated by private initiative, excluding employment relationships in the government sector. The method used is based on documentary research of a deductive and interpretative nature of the Mexican positive legal rules. The aim is to analyse the balancing of the employer's rights with regard to the supervision and control exercised by the employer at the employee in contrast to the worker's non-specific fundamental rights, such as the right to privacy. ; Resumen: El capitalismo industrial se caracterizó por la existencia de una sociedad disciplinaria, la cual ha sido reemplazada en la actualidad por la sociedad de control. Esta misma está relacionada con la información-tecnología mediante la cual se vigila el espacio, el tiempo y los movimientos de los empleados para generar su autocontrol y lograr así un mayor desempeño y productividad en su jornada laboral. En este trabajo, el objeto de análisis se concreta exclusivamente en el estudio de las relaciones laborales generadas en la iniciativa privada, excluyendo las relaciones laborales del sector gubernamental. El método utilizado se basa en la investigación documental de carácter deductivo e interpretativo de la normativa jurídica positiva mexicana. El objetivo es analizar la ponderación de los derechos del empresario respecto a la vigilancia y control que ejerce el empleador en el trabajador en contrapeso a los derechos fundamentales inespecíficos de este, como es el derecho a la intimidad.

Programa de doctorado: Relectura en clave planetaria de los principios éticos tradicionales ; La tesis profundiza en el bien común universal propuesto en la Pacem in terris, descubierto por el pensamiento político católico y desarrollado por la Doctrina Social de la Iglesia, como principio moral para la vida social y respuesta plausible al déficit de convivencialidad actual, fuertemente condicionado por la globalización y la crisis financiera de ámbito planetario. Igualmente, se estudia la relación del bien común universal con los principios fundamentales y los valores de la moral social católica, en su dimensión constructora de vida en común, haciéndose hincapié en el paradigma de circularidad al que responden desde la perspectiva de su operatividad. Por último, a fin de impulsar modelos sociales que conduzcan a la comunidad humana hacia una organización más acorde con la realidad de la conciencia del destino común del hombre, y teniendo en cuenta la relación del bien común con la necesidad de una autoridad pública mundial, se rastrean vías de edificación de la vida social, política y económica desde una lógica de comunión, en respuesta al estado actual de las relaciones planetarias marcadas por las posibilidades generadoras de convivencialidad del bien común universal en nuestro presente y para el futuro. ; The thesis delves into the universal common good proposed in the Pacem in terris, discovered by Catholic political thought and developed by the Social Doctrine of the Church as a moral principle for social life and a plausible response to the current living together deficit, which is strongly conditioned by the globalization and the global financial crisis. Likewise, the universal common good relation with the fundamental principles and the Catholic social morality values in their constructive dimension of life in common are studied, and the implementation circular paradigm it consists in is emphasized. Finally, from a communion logic, paths of social, political and economic life are traced in order to promote social models that would lead the human community towards an organization in line with the consciousness reality of the shared destiny of human being. The common good relation with the need of a world public authority is considered in response to the world relations current state, that are fixed by the possibilities of the existence of an universal common good for cohabitation in our present and for the future.

Las políticas activas del mercado de trabajo tienen como objetivo el favorecer la búsqueda de empleo por parte de quienes carecen del mismo, así como facilitar la adaptación de estas personas a los requerimientos del mercado laboral. A la hora de diseñar estas políticas hay que tener en cuenta que tienen sus limitaciones y que pueden incluso generar efectos no deseados, como muestra la evidencia empírica. En el caso español, las políticas de empleo han sido muy variadas, y los resultados diversos. Con carácter general, el mejor comportamiento respecto a otras políticas corresponde a la formación, ya que eleva sustancialmente la probabilidad de empleo de quienes no están ocupados. También resultan eficaces las actuaciones de orientación y asistencia laboral de cierto contenido (más allá del básico) y las actuaciones destinadas a colectivos débiles en preparación.

We analyze in this paper the controversy over the uses of the anthropological collections that existed in both the Museum of Ethnology and Anthropology and the National Museum of Natural History, in Santiago of Chile between 1912 to 1929. We argue that debates between these museums were mainly influenced by three aspects: the quantity of pieces gathered, the storage and the physical preservation of the objects, and their public and official recognition as a scientific agency by the political authorities. By placing the disputes over objects and collections we can see the eclectic nature of the anthropology at the time and for what such debates and disagreements signified to the definition of the anthropology as a science during early decades of twentieth century. ; En esta investigación analizamos una serie de controversias sobre las colecciones existentes en los Museos de Etnología y Antropología (MEA) y el Museo Nacional de Historia Natural (MNHN), en Santiago entre los años 1912 y 1929. Las principales hipótesis que guiaron nuestra investigación nos indicaron que las controversias sostenidas entre ambos museos se debieron a tres factores: en las condiciones materiales del resguardo de los objetos; la cantidad de piezas existentes en ambas instituciones; y el mayor acceso a redes institucionales, afinidades intelectuales y científicas. A partir del destino y usos de las colecciones antropológicas sostenemos que es posible ver una serie de conflictos y desavenencias sobre el rol que debía tener la antropología en el desarrollo científico nacional en las primeras décadas del siglo XX.
