La evaluación docente universitaria, en las prácticas cotidianas, no siempre es entendida como una oportunidad de aprendizaje para el profesorado y el alumnado. A menudo las prácticas evaluadoras en la enseñanza universitaria se convierten en una carrera obsesiva por comprobar lo que los/as estudiantes han aprendido. Frente a esta realidad existen, sin embargo, experiencias de evaluación docente en las que la palabra evaluación, recupera su sentido de búsqueda, conocimiento y comprensión de la realidad educativa, con el objeto de mejorarla. La concepción sobre evaluación que los autores de este texto presentan, se fundamenta en la importancia que tiene para ésta, arbitrar canales de comunicación que permitan al alumnado participar libre y democráticamente, opinando y ofreciendo su perspectiva sobre el proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje que tiene lugar en el aula. Este artículo trata de ofrecer un ejemplo sobre qué estrategias, materiales, actividades y espacios de intercambio de información, entre el alumnado y el profesorado, se pueden llevar a cabo en los procesos de evaluación docente. En él se muestra cómo la voz del alumnado en la evaluación de la docencia, se convierte en un recurso fundamental para comprender la realidad educativa, al tiempo que es sumamente útil para rediseñar el trabajo que se hace en el aula, sirviendo, a su vez, como una herramienta de desarrollo profesional docente. ; A avaliação docente universitária, nas práticas cotidianas, não sempre é entendida como uma oportunidade de aprendizagem para o professorado e o corpo discente. Frente a esta realidade existem, no entanto, experiências de avaliação docente nas que a palavra avaliação, recupera seu sentido de busca, conhecimento e entendimento da realidade educativa, com o objeto de melhorá-la. A concepção sobre avaliação que os autores deste texto apresentam, fundamenta-se na importância que tem para esta, arbitrar canais de comunicação que permitam ao corpo discente participar livre e democraticamente, opinando e oferecendo sua perspectiva sobre o processo de ensino-aprendizagem que tem lugar no sala de aula. Este artigo trata de oferecer um exemplo sobre que estratégias, materiais, atividades e espaços de intercâmbio de informação, entre o corpo discente e o professorado, podem-se levar a cabo nos processos de avaliação docente. Often evaluation practices in university education become an obsessive race of checking what the / students have learned. Faced with this reality exist, however, experiences of teaching evaluation in which the word assessment, recovers his sense of search, knowledge and understanding of the educational reality, to improve it. The concept of evaluation that the authors of this text present, is based on the importance for this, arbitrate communication channels that allow students to participate freely and democratically, believing and offering his perspective on the process of teaching and learning that takes place in the classroom. This article seeks to provide an example of what strategies, materials, activities and spaces of exchange of information between the students and teachers, can be carried out in teaching evaluation processes. It shows how the voice of the students in the evaluation of teaching, becomes an essential resource to understand the educational reality, at the time which is extremely useful to redesign the work being done in the classroom, serving in turn as a tool for professional development of teachers.

La estandarización de pruebas para valorar los sistemas educativos ha ido in-crescendo desde que el discurso de las competencias cobrara protagonismo en la Unión Europea. El análisis de la ideología que sustentan dichas prácticas, así como del paradigma que se esconde tras ellas, son objetivos de este artículo. Para ello se realiza una reflexión por una de las máximas representantes de esta corriente en Europa, las denominadas pruebas PISA (Programme for International Student Assessment) (Programa Internacional para la Evaluación de Estudiantes). Los autores plantean una serie de argumentos que tratan de explicar por qué las pruebas estandarizadas representan un modelo de eficiencia en educación y no tanto, de calidad, donde la evaluación es entendida como un proceso de recogida de información útil y valiosa para emprender procesos de mejora. Y analizan algunas de las cuestiones más significativas que se desprenden del uso de pruebas estandarizadas en educación, tales como el uso político que se hace de los resultados, el sobre valor que se le otorga a las materias instrumentales o el desmantelamiento que se produce de la función social de la escuela, entre otras ; The standardization of tests to value the educational system has been in- crescendo since the competences speech becomes relevant in the European Union. The analysis of ideology supporting these practices, as well as the paradigm is behind them, is the objective of this paper. This requires a brief review of one of the more representative tests of this trend in Europe, the so-called PISA (Programme for International Student Assessment). The authors present arguments trying to explain why standardized tests represent an efficiency model based in education and not quality model based, where evaluation is understood as a process of collecting useful and valuable information that can undertake processes improvement. In the same way, authors analyse main questions about use of standardized tests in education like politic use of results, primacy of some areas about others or detriment of the school social function

In this paper we reflect on how qualitative research in education in Spain has become invisible, by asking a series of questions. What are the effects of this? What are the keys to understand this marginalisation of qualitative research? What are the implications for researchers and students? What challenges does qualitative research face in order to overcome this lack of visibility? To discuss these issues, we present a series of structured reflections in the form of an essay based on the preliminary impressions that have emerged in the course of a broader investigation that we are conducting and that focuses on the state of qualitative research in education in Spain. Our intention is, on the one hand, to offer a vision of the Spanish panorama to the international community, and on the other hand, to transfer the ideas that have emerged during the course of the research that we are developing to serve as a reflection and resource to other qualitative researchers.

The aim of the present study was to analyse differences in the psychoneuroendocrine stress responses of high-level, young swimmers depending on whether an autocratic and democratic coaching style was applied. Modifications in cortisol and the motivational climate of 18 young swimmers (15.3 ± 1.86 years, 10 females and 8 males) were analysed before and after two training sessions with equivalent training loads but directed by two coaches applying different approaches, i.e., autocratic (A) and democratic (D). The basal testosterone levels of the coaches were also assessed. The basal testosterone concentration was higher in coach A than in coach D; the athletes perceived them as autocratic and democratic, respectively. Swimmers under coach A's instructions showed higher cortisol levels, suggesting higher cortisol production related to coaching style. Furthermore, differences in the motivational climate concerning ego (i.e., athletes comparing their ability with that of other athletes) were observed with coach A, whereas differences in motivational climate concerning the task (i.e., athletes comparing their ability with their own past performance) were observed with coach D. Cognitive variables showed negative perceptions affecting athletes' training experience and performance when they were screamed at or insulted by coach A. There were no gender or age differences in cortisol production or motivational climate. In conclusion, this study suggests that an autocratic coaching style modulates cortisol release in both genders, affecting young elite swimmers' motivational climate and training experience.
