Health represents a context where it is possible to observe the relationship between individuals and society, namely which spaces of autonomy are left for the individuals and which social forces are exercised on them. If Critical Theory points out the mechanisms of a neoliberal matrix that makes individuals "subjugate subjects", Social System Theory allows to investigate how they are "included" in various spheres of society. Integrating these theories, we investigate mechanisms of subjectification on health. Moreover, through the analysis of the recent Italian law on advance directives and living will, we question if the claims of self-determination expressed by individuals could represent a form of "resistance" against neoliberal policies. Through a theoretical reflection and an analysis of the background and the juridical consequences of the law n. 219/2017, we conclude that the individual autonomy could be exercised together with responsibility towards others, balancing individual needs and claims with social solidarity.

An investigation about interests and opportunities for Italy concerning the regulation of the food law in Europe means having to do with law, economy, politics, but also with science and technology, health and nutrition, ecology, culture; a sensitive matter of universal interest. Therefore, the interdisciplinary and manifold nature of the subject involves a wide spectrum of issues and obligates to take into account numerous requests from individuals and society as a whole. In this sense, elements for orientation can be provided by sociology, specifically from social systems theory

Anche al Centro e al Nord d'Italia per zittire i giornalisti, per oscurare informazioni importanti, si fa ricorso a minacce, aggressioni, risarcimenti smisurati e ad altri tipi di intimidazione. Non accadono solo nel Sud sottosviluppato e più assediato dalle mafie queste brutte cose che hanno declassato l'Italia al rango dei paesi a democrazia debole. Avvengono anche intorno a Milano, a Torino, a Vicenza. Accadono spesso, troppo spesso, anche se i giornali ne parlano poco, pochissimo. Queste brutte cose accado- no e forse è per un senso di vergogna che si cerca di non vederle. Oggi questo atteggiamento reticente, distratto è una parte del problema. Basta cominciare a dire che queste cose accadono in Italia e poiché l'Italia è una, quando c'è un problema si ripercuo- te in ogni angolo.

According to the luhmannian paradigm of world society, policontestural and characterized by functional differentiation, a regional idea of society should be rejected. However, it is clear that there are still strong differences in national political and legal subsystems, particularly with regard to the fundamental rights recognized to individuals and their effective protection. In particular rights and values recognized by international treaties are often incompatible (see M. Neves, 2013). This work will be compared with the contributions on this issue by N. Luhmann (fundamental rights are institutions that emerge to allow social differentiation, protect it from the expansionist tendencies of the political subsystem and assign individual rights outside of the norm of reciprocity) and by G. Teubner (according to him it is necessary to distinguish between institutional, personal and human rights, the latter "understood as negative limits imposed on societal communications, where the physical and mental integrity of the individuals is undermined by a communicative matrix"). These contributions are representing a sociology of constitutions at present widely discussed in Latin American countries. In order to avoid an anti-humanistic approach, which considers the individuals outside the inter-systemic communication, we need to take into account that, in a contemporary world characterized by less and less differentiated systems, the multisystemic environment is subject to dynamism and reflexive communicative channels (strukturelle Kopplung) between subsystems. Constitutions could be thus combine closure and openness of the legal system by resorting to strategies of institutionalization of internal self-reflection and external communication.

Ao discutir os relatos de professoras e observar suas ações frente às meninas e aos meninos, este artigo trata das relações de gênero e poder presentes nos processos de socialização de crianças pequenas e analisa as estratégias voltadas para a normalização e o controle das expressões corporais de meninas e meninos. Ao buscar compreender como ocorria a educação de meninos e meninas que transgrediam as fronteiras do que lhes era imposto, verificamos como as características aparentemente naturalizadas e direcionadas à masculinidade e à feminilidade são resultantes de muitos esforços para deixar marcas distintas no corpo, no comportamento e nas habilidades dessas crianças.

Este texto aborda os desafios da inserção de gênero na formação inicial docente, diante do preocupante cenário social e político, no qual movimentos antigênero questionam a pertinência da discussão de gênero no âmbito educacional. Analisa os relatórios da UNESCO sobre "Educação em Sexualidade e Relações de Gênero na Formação Inicial Docente no Ensino Superior", de 2014 e 2017. Para isso, o texto apresenta as experiências de quatro professoras universitárias feministas da região sul e sudeste do Brasil, bem como seus esforços e negociações para a promoção de mudanças relacionadas à temática, revelando o currículo como um campo de disputas, com tensos processos que permeiam a institucionalização da temática de gênero. O artigo provoca-nos a pensar como a violência de gênero na universidade assume também um caráter denunciatório da discriminação estrutural de gênero, que inclusive afeta a ocupação dos espaços de tomada de decisão. Por fim, o texto aponta para a importância da construção de um projeto político pedagógico comprometido com a eliminação das desigualdades, que possa servir de instrumento de resistência para o campo educativo.

Este artigo apresenta uma experiência de formação inicial docente em Educação Infantil, resultado de discussões sobre estratégias formativas no Programa de Residência Pedagógica (PRP) do curso de Pedagogia da Universidade Federal de São Paulo (UNIFESP). Considerando a residência pedagógica como um laboratório do pensamento reflexivo, este artigo discute as estratégias de investigação reflexiva e a documentação, destacando um processo de construção coletiva de saberes. Apresenta subsídios que favorecem a reflexão sobre o estágio docente na Educação Infantil, sobre a criança pequena e o processo educativo na infância, e sobre o modo de trabalhar pedagogicamente, transformando experiências em saberes docentes.

Questo lavoro, a partire dalla teoria dei sistemi sociali di N. Luhmann, espone i concetti di "corruzione sistemica" e "violenza sistemica", analizzando l'impatto dei fenomeni che essi descrivono sui sottosistemi societari del diritto e della politica. Viene studiato un caso concreto, cioè quanto avvenuto in Italia nei primi anni '90 (il sistema corruttivo denominato "Tangentopoli", svelato grazie alle indagini di "Mani Pulite"), per identificarne le principali ripercussioni sui diritti umani e i derivanti conflitti tra media, opinione pubblica, potere giudiziario e politico. Attraverso la ricerca bibliografica e il metodo ipotetico- deduttivo, la corruzione viene concepita non soltanto come un crimine, ma come un fenomeno sociale che coinvolge la società nel suo complesso e i cittadini, intesi come individui chiamati a scegliere e ad agire responsabilmente. Proprio in virtù del riferimento ai livelli individuale e interpersonale della vita sociale, le considerazioni fatte possono applicarsi anche a contesti differenti da quello qui analizzato (Italia).
