This second digital edition includes my research from 2013 until November 2015. There are many important changes from de first version. This version introduces the Technocratic Mode of Production based on the exploitation of the consumers. It includes a complete description of the cyborg society as it is today, the new castes that constitute it and the economic acts that regulate the new Mode of Production. Many of the new conclusions are derived from my current research which in a more didactical approach considers "order" at the center of the historical analysis instead of the vaguer concept of "information". Our standpoint become clearer explaining better the primacy of knowledge and experience over ideology. Knowledge and experience for us are constituting aspects of the Civil Society -and therefore "irreversible" aspects of history- while ideology belongs to the political sphere, submitted to the changes of temporal and reversible acts. The immediate consequence of our standpoint is that the limits of history are Natural history; a Natural history which is driven by knowledge and experience and not by "ideological struggles" related to "class struggle". In other words, the struggle for the constitution of a cyborg is prior and stronger than any other social struggle. Lund, November 2015. _________________ This book is a personal answer to the crisis of the left. The author of this texts belongs to a generation habituated to live with global explanations. During our youth, the future of the world was the future of democracy and socialism. We belong to a generation of "leftist" that found in Marx and Freud, phenomenology and structuralism the most important answers that made sense of the everyday world. However, the developments of events during the last sixty years, showed that our confidence was ungrounded. The depreciation of the theoretical thought accelerated in direct proportion to the development of technologies, and among them the impact of the digital developments was devastating. One of the most notable consequences of the digitalization of culture, was the depreciation of the Marxian thought, but also the less recognized depreciation of all kinds of political-economic thought. The collapse of the world created before the Second World War open for the end of the "grand narratives" and the enthronization of Postmodernism. The production of fragmentary explanations took over the historical perspective with an important influence on social and economic thought. After 60 years of postmodern thinking, we believe that the time of Postmodernism is over. Politicians and economists over the world cannot continue to produce results in small packages. The whole picture must be restituted. Of course it must be done incorporating the lessons of the past to avoid to make the same mistakes. Postmodernism has left behind lots of scattered modernist philosophical remnants. It left a chessboard with only few pieces to work with, and in this allegory, only as references. The philosophical schools remains, but the study of them is strictly for an education in the history of ideas. The situation is aggravating since the most important works from the 1960's and forth, (post-structuralists) deliberately have avoided obvious identity patterns. A word in Rio de la Plata's jargon language describes this situation, cambalache, a sort of "flea market" where everything lies higgledy-piggledy. Deconstruction and the focus on differences are vital to Postmodernism. Remaining is therefore the intersections, the contrasts, shadows, and sketches. When trying to orient in such an intellectual environment, the task reminds of patching scatterings, and building with tools of eclecticism. However, we believe that is time to reconstruct instead of deconstruct, moving back to Modernism that we will describe as Cyborgism. December 2013

Spanish America is a geographical area within which the power struggle between archaic and modern traits stands out very clearly. The reason for this might be found in the significant initial historical distance between the society of the Europeans and the society of the Indians. For this reason, it is very difficult to comprehend the history of ideas of this area, if one disregards the dialectics of modernity and archaicity. This dialectics was at an early stage formulated in a classical work by the Argentinean Domingo Sarmiento (Facundo, 1845) as a power struggle between civilisation and barbarism. The opposition between modernity and archaicity generated yet another historical equation that controls the main patterns in the Latin American history of ideas: the fact that the individual freedom increases at the expense of the independence of the collective, and vice versa. Archaisms and modernities have taken the form of oppositions such as that between Indian and European culture, between European colonial thought and revolutionary nationalistic thought, between conservative and liberal thought, between scholastic and modern phi-losophy, between provincial culture and urban culture, etc. Sarmiento's conception of Spanish Latin America as barbaric has in the 20th century found new expressions in the works of writers such as Jorge Luis Bor-ges and his, by Anglo-Saxon culture inspired, literature. On the other hand, we have an archaically inspired philosophical thought, in which the nation is located at the centre, which has gained much space within political thought after the war of independence.

The author's previous work, itself based on the work of Martin Heidegger and then the Speech Act theorists grounded two important claims. First, computers are about communication, not computation or data processing. Second, communication is primarily about the coordination of commitments to act. This paper argues, as a review of the thinking inUnderstanding Computers and Cognition,that much is still to be learned about how speech acts work to structure commitments and how the interlinked structure of multiple commitments determines the kind of actions possible in any institution. The paper considers the way the Web establishes sites, virtual communities, and so forth. By referring to Hegel, Kierkegaard, and Heidegger on identity, the paper examines the sorts of identities virtual places are currently making possible and the development that virtual, identity forming practices will need to undergo if virtual sites are to act as real sites do.

Originalidad y periferia. Existe una forma de "originalidad" que nada tiene que ver con la forma de interpretar los hechos culturales. Según esta manera de ver la cultura, lo que hace a ésta original es su carácter único, su particularidad antropológica e histórica. Del mismo modo que cada ser vivo es portador de un banco genético único, es cada forma de la cultura portadora de una herencia cultural intransferible y cuya importancia final no nos es posible decidir. El rasgo original de la sabiduría latinoamericana es a la luz de lo dicho mas arriba, el haber surgido en condiciones históricas únicas. Esta particularidad se expresa claramente en el contexto histórico cuando se constata que la historia de una cultura es la historia de hechos simples. De esta manera podemos estar seguros de que los rasgos culturales más importantes son aquellos que se desarrollan en contacto directo con un medio. Para expresar lo dicho con ayuda de un ejemplo, digamos que aún cuando la "inteligencia" europea permaneció en Europa durante los tiempos de la conquista y la colonia, y aún cuando se supone que la dirección de estos períodos se hallaba en manos de esa inteligencia, los problemas concretos que supuso el choque cultural de la conquista, fueron resueltos por los misioneros, militares y colonos en el lugar de los hechos. Creo que partiendo de la perspectiva que nos da la historia, podemos concluir que la prestación cultural que, en abierta lucha, lograron indígenas y conquistadores, amos y esclavos, alcanza para desarrollar alguna capacidad creativa, mas allá del valor moral que atribuyamos a esos hechos. Es solo cuestión de asignar el tiempo que sea necesario, tanto a la investigación directa de los hechos como a la tarea epistemológica de "limpiar" la historia de juicios de valor, para conseguir reunir los elementos culturales particulares. Debemos pues descartar el uso del término "original" cuando es usado en el sentido de "mas original que", esto es, cuando es expresión de juicios de valor. Las variables que determinan una cultura son desconocidas, por lo cual una revisión siempre limitada históricamente no puede autorizar la realización de comparaciones de ese tipo. No olvidemos que el investigador de la cultura, no tiene como saber el lugar que el "ahora" ocupa en el proceso total de la cultura estudiada. El objetivo de una historia de la cultura supone según me parece, una actividad analítica descriptiva que evite en la medida de lo posible el recurso a términos cargados de contenidos evaluativos. Cuando "retraso" no significa lo mismo que "retardo". Antes del período independentista y después del arribo de Colón, tuvo lugar en América el desarrollo de una vida cultural única. Del mismo modo que en Europa, esa vida cultural única descansó en manos de las ordenes religiosas y de la Iglesia. Ese período usualmente denominado "colonial" no es otro que el período de la Sociedad Indiana. Esas órdenes religiosas participaron de los acontecimientos culturales europeos con un cierto retraso. El estudio de este retraso, entendido ahora como una categoría cultural, podría darnos una idea bastante clara de la verdadera originalidad (particularidad) que caracterizó el pensamiento latinoamericano durante estos años. Se ha supuesto muchas veces que esta ruptura del ritmo originalmente marcado por Europa, supuso el desarrollo retardado de la inteligencia latinoamericana. Esta idea puede descartarse fácilmente mostrando que no se trata de un mismo fenómeno. Si se afirma que la cultura latinoamericana de entonces no era "original" sino solo una copia de la cultura europea, debemos subrayar que esta comparación supone que se asuma la cultura europea como el modelo de referencia. Sin embargo, se puede constatar que la cultura europea por ejemplo, no estuvo en condiciones directas de hacerse cargo del choque cultural que el arribo a América significara. Se puede por lo tanto invertir el enfoque y sostener que la cultura europea vivió la conquista con un cierto retraso. Los sabios misioneros en el lugar de los hechos fueron obligados por las circunstancias a confrontar la herencia cultural occidental con una forma de cultura completamente desconocida, con un tipo de hombre, con una religión, una filosofía y un lenguaje también desconocidos. En su lucha por ganar el "alma" indígena, los misioneros se vieron obligados a crear una nueva manera de pensar. Una manera de pensar que normalmente atribuimos al pensamiento europeo posterior, pero que además y con seguridad, debemos liberar de la influencia que Europa ha tenido en la filosofía antropológica latinoamericana. Sea como sea, los europeos que participaron en la colonización de esas tierras, dejaron de ser auténticamente europeos sin darse cuenta de ello. Desde un primer momento, fueron transformados por el medio y pasaron para siempre a ser parte del nuevo escenario. Esto hizo posible la trinidad americana de indios, africanos y europeos, creando un medio ambiente cultural único en la historia y desplazando irremediablemente a Europa a un lugar retrasado en desarrollo de los acontecimientos internos.

Flores, F. et al. ; Faba bean (Vicia faba L.) is a cool season grain legume whose acreage has constantly declined in traditional producer countries as it has been replaced by more productive cereal crops. However, faba bean is still considered to have great potential as rainfed crop. In order to satisfy the renewed interest in faba bean cultivation yield stability should be improved by exploiting different germplasm types and sowing seasons.In order to understand of genotype by environment interactions and to compare cultivar performance over years and locations a spring faba bean network was established with 20 cultivars grown over three crop seasons at 13 contrasting locations covering most of Europe. Analysis was performed by heritability-adjusted genotype plus genotype × environment interaction (HA-GGE) biplot analysis. HA-GGE biplot analyses identified that the effect of genotype by environment interaction was higher than the effect of genotypes, allowing identification of three mega-environments, namely Continental, Oceanic, and Mediterranean, in which cultivar performed differently. This supports the need for specific breeding for each specific geoclimatic area. Espresso was the highest yielding cultivar, being also highly stable over the Oceanic and Continental mega-environments. Cultivars Fuego, Hobbit and SR-1060 had also good yield but with a moderate unstability in both Oceanic and Continental mega-environments. Baraca and Alameda yielded poorly at all environments although were the best yielders at Mediterranean locations. Environments as Sumperk and Premesques were identified as the best core test locations for Continental and Oceanic mega-environments, respectively, being the locations in which best genotypes could be most easily identified. © 2013 Elsevier B.V. ; Financial support by the European Union EUFABA project (ref. La tecnología de nitruros es actualmente la más prometedora para la fabricación de dispositivos eléctricos de alta eficiencia en potencia a altas frecuencias y temperaturas presentando un alto valor de voltaje de ruptura, aunque sus posibilidades están todavía por debajo de las expectativas teóricas. Inicialmente, el interés de esta tecnología se focalizó en aplicaciones militares para microondas, pero en la actualidad los transistores de alta movilidad electrónicas (HEMT) se han centrado en las comunicaciones para radiofrecuencia civiles, así como en otros sectores de electrónica de potencia. La comercialización ha hecho crecer el número de estudios relacionados con la fiabilidad, y consecuentemente, de mecanismos de fallo y degradación, para un mejor entendimiento de la física subyacente. Recientemente, la influencia de la distribución del campo eléctrico, la densidad de carga en la superficie y los efectos piezoeléctricos han cobrado relevancia en relación con la fiabilidad, en el caso de los nitruros del grupo III. En este sentido, se presenta una caracterización estructural, eléctrica y de la superficie, amplia y detallada, en múltiples heteroestructuras de AlGaN/GaN crecidas sobre sustratos diferentes (SiC, zafiro y silicio) por técnicas de crecimiento epitaxial similares (MBE y MOVPE). El conocimiento de la heteroestructura es fundamental para realizar simulaciones de los principales parámetros y propiedades de interés como los campos de polarización, la densidad de carga en el canal y los mecanismos de dispersión, que afectan al transporte eléctrico en las heteroestructuras y, en cualquier caso, sobre las capacidades teóricas finales de los dispositivos HEMT fabricados. La calidad cristalina de las heteroestructuras se evaluó mediante diferentes técnicas estructurales, concretamente XRD e IBA. Por otra parte, la superficie del AlGaN se analizó cualitativamente y cuantitativamente mediante XPS y AFM.
