La signature au temps de l'electronique

The landscape of writing has been significantly transformed by the electronisation of different writing practices such as that used for the signature, a powerful sign of identity & validation. The analysis is based on two cases: the project to adopt the electronic signature to validate judicial acts in France & the new modalities of submission for articles made by the well known journal Nature. It shows how identification has become a big issue. The "securitarian" attitude & the suspiciousness between peers lead to opposite choices: cryptographic signature for the legal world & handwritten signature for the scientific world.
