This document articulates around an assumption: "the most violent violence and the whole series of human rights violations, massacres, disappearances and clandestine graves that migrants in transit through Mexican territory (s) have suffered, represent a collateral damage to the indices of impunity and corruption that have been lived in Mexico in the most recent decade (2007-2017)." The migratory process of Central American migrants is analyze from a sociological perspective with the approach of human resilience. The readers are anticipate that organized crime groups in Mexico are accused to have perpetrated these crimes as an illicit activity beyond the wide range of regional monopolies of control and violence against the entire population without distinction of nationality. The violent incidents against the transmigrants, their histories and denunciations, have contributed in the exercise of governmental measures to protect their orderly and safe transit during their passage through Mexican territories. However, faced with so much violence against them in the most violent decade of Mexico, the adjective of transmigrants is used. To them, to the relatives of the disappeared and NGOs we recognize their stories and the denunciations that keep the Mexican government on alert. ; Este documento está articulado alrededor de un supuesto: "la violencia más violenta y toda la serie de violaciones a los derechos humanos, masacres, desapariciones y fosas clandestinas que han sufrido los migrantes en tránsito por territorio (s) mexicano (s), representan un daño colateral a los índices de impunidad y corrupción que se han vivido en México en la década más reciente (2007-2017)". Se analiza el proceso migratorio de los migrantes de América Central desde una perspectiva sociológica con el enfoque de la resiliencia humana. Se advierte al lector que son los grupos del crimen organizado en México quienes han perpetrado estos crímenes como una actividad ilícita más del extenso rango de los monopolios regionales de control y violencia contra toda la población sin distinción de nacionalidad. Los sucesos violentos contra los transmigrantes, sus historias y denuncias, han contribuido en el ejercicio de medidas gubernamentales para proteger su tránsito ordenado y seguro durante su travesía por territorios mexicanos. Sin embargo, ante tanta violencia en su contra registrada en la década más violenta de México, es que se utiliza la adjetivación de transmigrantes. A ellos, a los familiares de los desaparecidos y ONGs les reconocemos sus historias y las denuncias que mantienen en alerta al gobierno mexicano.

Agustin Espinosa (1897-1939) was a famous author in his lifetime but forgotten under Franco. His work adapts all the main cultural movements of the era: he passes from the modernism of his youthful poems, to Spanish avant-garde movements (inspired by Ortega y Gasset's Dehumanisation of art), to French surrealism, and, finally, to a style inspired by the Fascism of the Spanish Civil War. This Thesis has brought together all Espinosa's collaborations with Fascist journals, which were never reedited after his death, and analyses them within the same framework as articles written before the war. The objective is to show how Espinosa's writing is marked by a real consistency and continuity throughout his career. In spite of what is, to be sure, an eclectic development as a writer, Espinosa reveals a great inventiveness of style and a seemingly limitless erudition in all his texts. The homogeneity of his prose also originates from the myths that inspire him, and the way he transforms them, thus creating a literary system that drives his vision of the world. Espinosa's myths and their metamorphoses have thus been studied in relation to space (geographical and literary contexts); ideologies ('caste-systems' and political extremisms); and the representation of literary myths (animals, men and women). Thus structured, this analysis aims to be the most exhaustive possible; it accounts for Espinosa's complexity as a radical and obscure author, while recognising fully that not all the enigmas in his work have yet been fully resolved. ; Agustín Espinosa (1897-1939) fut un auteur célèbre à son époque puis oublié sous le franquisme. Cette Thèse a récupéré toutes les collaborations d'Espinosa aux journaux phalangistes, qui n'avaient jamais été rééditées après sa mort, afin de les analyser au même titre que l'ensemble de ses articles d'avant-guerre, dans le but de démontrer que l'écriture d'Espinosa garde une véritable unicité. Certes, malgré un parcours éclectique, Espinosa fait preuve dans tous ces textes d'une grande inventivité stylistique et d'une érudition sans bornes. L'homogénéité de sa prose découle aussi des mythes qui inspirent Espinosa et des métamorphoses qu'il leur impose, créant ainsi un système littéraire qui véhicule sa vision du monde. L'on a donc étudié les mythes d'Espinosa et leurs métamorphoses par rapport à l'espace –contextes littéraire et géographique-, aux idéologies –« casticisme » et extrémismes politiques- et à la représentation des mythes littéraires –des animaux, des hommes et des femmes-. Ce schéma d'analyse se veut le plus exhaustif possible, tenant compte de la complexité d'Espinosa, un auteur radical et obscur, même si l'on a bien conscience de ne pas avoir pu résoudre toutes les énigmes que son œuvre continue de poser.

El utilitarismo y el liberalismo contemporáneos han orientado y formulado relevantes cuestionamientos éticos al quehacer de la salud pública. El desarrollo de estas corrientes de pensamiento estuvo estrechamente vinculado con la reivindicación de la tolerancia religiosa, las libertades individuales y el constitucionalismo, defendidos por diversos pensadores en los siglos XVII y XVIII. Además, su aparición coincide con el surgimiento de una estructura económica basada en el libre mercado. Para enfrentar los desafíos contemporáneos de la salud pública y global, algunas vertientes del utilitarismo y el liberalismo abogan por una acción mínima del Estado; mientras que otras, por el contrario, consideran que el Estado y la comunidad internacional deben tener un papel activo, sin afectar significativamente las libertades individuales. It brings together theoretical debates on artists' political engagement and an extensive critical apparatus, providing the reader with an historical framework for wider reflections on the relationship between art and politics.

Este trabajo examina el pensamiento sobre arte de Antonio Gramsci con relación a su pensamiento político y su concepción de la filosofía. Compara los conceptos de hegemonía y filosofía de la praxis con la distinción entre el valor cultural civilizatorio del arte y su carácter autónomo y distinto. ; This paper deals with the relationship between Antonio Gramsci's artistic and political thinking. For this I compare the terms "hegemony" and "philosophy of praxis" with Gramsci's distinction between the cultural, civilising value of art, and its autonomous and distinct character.

La característica más relevante del marxismo italiano de la segunda posguerra es su atención a los procesos superestructurales, tomando como punto de partida la obra de Antonio Gramsci y su concepto de "hegemonía", un estado de consenso social en la visión del mundo de la clase obrera que es condición previa a la toma del poder político. Consecuentemente, la política cultural adquirió una relevancia fundamental en la política general del Partido Comunista Italiano, siendo uno de sus temas principales de debate la superación de la cultura burguesa de vanguardia mediante su confrontación con la cultura popular (o folclore) de masas, obrera o campesina. Desde la perspectiva de los comunistas, la producción cultural de las vanguardias intelectuales eran cualitativamente relevantes pero elitistas, mientras que la cultura popular era "democrática" por la extensión de su base social, pero cualitativamente limitada y en ocasiones "reaccionaria" en el sentido de mostrar la minoría de edad, el carácter intelectualmente dependiente de las clases subalternas -por emplear la terminología gramsciana. Aun así, la cultura popular adquiría una relevancia política fundamental para el PCI y muchos autores marxistas percibían algunas de sus nuevas expresiones en la inmediata posguerra (ligadas al hecho histórico de la experiencia del antifascismo, de la propia constitución del Partido Comunista como el mayor partido de Italia, de las luchas sindicales de masas, etc.) como fruto de un salto cualitativo "progresista" que era reflejo de una creciente toma de conciencia de las clases subalternas de sus capacidades para dirigir a la sociedad en su conjunto. Este artículo analiza el estatus político de la cultura popular en Italia durante la inmediata posguerra desde el punto de vista de la distinción entre folclore progresista y folclore reaccionario, según la elaboración teórica del antropólogo Ernesto de Martino y sus desarrollos e influencias. Además examina algunos ejemplos de folclore "progresista" de masas italiano (expresiones culturales politizadas de masas inspiradas en el antifascismo y el movimiento obrero y campesino), y su recepción entre los intelectuales comprometidos de vanguardia. Las primeras secciones presentan la génesis y desarrollo del concepto demartiniano de folclore progresista y de su teoría del compromiso político de los intelectuales profesionales, tomando como punto de partida la historia de la antropología italiana, la influencia de los estudios folclorísticos soviéticos y las acepciones del término "cultura popular" en los Cuadernos de la cárcel de Gramsci, que se comenzaban a publicar en la segunda mitad de los cuarenta. Seguidamente se analizan ejemplos relevantes de "folclore progresista" como el teatro de masas, las nuevas versiones politizadas de cantos tradicionales y de la poesía dialectal, la fiesta de L'Unità, etc. También se trata de la producción de los intelectuales profesionales antifascistas y comunistas en la medida en que esta adquiría características distintivas "de masas" (tanto en sus formas expresivas como en el público al que se dirigía) como resultado de su compromiso político. Finalmente se da cuenta del debate teórico mantenido en Italia durante la posguerra sobre la relación entre cultura de vanguardia y cultura de masas.

This book examines the artistic policies of the Italian Communist Party (PCI) during the early post-war years (1944–1951), after the defeat of Fascism in Europe and the outbreak of the Cold War. It brings together theoretical debates on artists' political engagement and an extensive critical apparatus, providing the reader with an historical framework for wider reflections on the relationship between art and politics. After 1944, the PCI became the biggest Communist organisation in the West, placing Italy in an ambiguous position regarding the other European countries. Nevertheless, the immediate strategy of the Communists was not revolution, but liberation from Fascism and the establishment of a democratic system from which a genuine Italian path to Socialism could be found. Taking Antonio Gramsci's notion of hegemony as a theoretical basis, the Communists intended to generate a progressive social bloc capable of achieving wide consensus within civil society before taking power. In order to accomplish this goal, the collaboration from intellectuals was necessary. The artistic policy of the Italian Communist Party was tailored to this end, counting on representatives from all groups and tendencies of the time, particularly those artists who rejected the imperialistic, autarchic pseudo-classicism that characterised most of Italian art throughout the Fascist years. In the 1930s, international, Modernist and cosmopolitan European culture became an escape route to artists seeking a way out of the oppressive cultural atmosphere of inter-war Italy. However, in the 1940s and 1950s, many of these artists experienced a deep transformation in their work after they became politically involved with the PCI, and were exposed to international Communist culture – and Socialist Realism in particular. This was conveyed not only by conscious changes in their subjects, their style and their material means of expression, but also in the public they addressed and in their own conception of themselves as artistic authors. Hence, at a time when the world was divided into two opposed camps, each heavily inflected by ideological allegiance and supported by powerful propaganda apparatuses, Italian Communist artists became the protagonists of a novel intellectual-political project which pursued the synthesis between antagonistic cultural blocs.

Se examina en este trabajo el concepto de nacionalismo con relación a la identificación subjetiva con la nación, en tanto manifestación histórica específica, del cual emana la legitimidad del orden político y los valores éticos que le son propios, atendiendo a su específica formulación según la idea gramsciana de "nacional-popular". Esta última se entiende como una matriz compleja que se refiere y conecta al menos dos cuestiones clave de la reflexión sobre el nacionalismo: el compromiso político del sujeto con la nación y la relación de hegemonía y subalternidad entre los distintos grupos que la componen. ; In this paper, I reflect upon nationalism in relation to the subjects' mechanisms of identification with the nation, as a specific historical manifestation, from which the legitimacy a given political order and its ethical values emanate. For this, I discuss Antonio Gramsci's notion of national-popular as a complex matrix embracing two main questions: The nationalist engagement of the subject and the hegemonic or subaltern relationships between the different social groups that conform the nation.

Se exploran las relaciones entre hegemonía y filosofía de la praxis en A. Gramsci. Se examina la influencia de la filosofía hegeliana sobre estas nociones en los Cuadernos de la cárcel. Asimismo, se estudia la crítica a estas nociones a la luz del feminismo de la diferencia y del debate sobre hegemonía, universalidad y contingencia iniciado por E. Laclau, J. Butler y S. Žižek.
