Social Work Roles and Tasks with Incarcerated Mothers

Incarcerated mothers and their children are a sizeable population at risk. Intervention can prevent or reduce the disabling effects of the sudden, extended separation on mothers, children, and families. A model for practice with inmate mothers is presented.
