Abstract
Anti-establishment parties with either a left-wing or a right-wing ideological slant have been entering contemporary European Democracies with sizeable vote shares. During the Great Recession, the Greek party system could be perceived as a relevant case-study for the formation and breakthrough of anti-establishment parties. Given the fact that two deeply ideologically diverging anti-establishment parties, the Coalition of the Radical Left – Social Unionist Front (syriza) and the populist radical right-wing Independent Greeks (anel), came to power, forming a coalition government from early 2015 to January 2019, the primary goal of this article is to enquire into 'supply-side' parameters, exploring potential associations along a range of programmatic stances and policy dimensions that effectuated the syriza-anel alliance. Using the Comparative Manifesto Project and the Chapel Hill Expert Survey datasets from 2012 to 2017, our findings confirm beyond the expected programmatic differences the existence of a converging policymaking basis between syriza and anel which goes beyond the 'pro-Memorandum vs. anti-Memorandum' divide.

To achieve the "well below 2 degrees" targets, a new ecosystem needs to be defined where citizens become more active, co-managing with relevant stakeholders, the government, and third parties. This means moving from the traditional concept of citizens-as-consumers towards energy citizenship. Positive Energy Districts (PEDs) will be the test-bed area where this transformation will take place through social, technological, and governance innovation. This paper focuses on benefits and barriers towards energy citizenships and gathers a diverse set of experiences for the definition of PEDs and Local Energy Markets from the Horizon2020 Smart Cities and Communities projects: Making City, Pocityf, and Atelier.

Data have been collected by telephone interviews conducted in February 2015 just after the 25 January 2015 Parliamentary Elections.

The data presented in the accompanying files were collected through the Voting Advice Application
(VAA) Choose4Greece (www.choose4greece.com), which was designed for the January and September 2015
parliamentary elections in Greece. VAAs are contemporary technological solutions that aim to lower the cost of information that citizens face during elections. They do so primarily by comparing the positions of voters to the positions of candidates or political parties on a set of relevant policy issues and informing voters
about how well their preferences match with those of the parties or candidates. This dataset contains user responses of the online survey as well as the associated positions of political parties.
