Mediatization has become increasingly a key concept, fundamental, essential to describe the present and the history of media and communicative change taking place. Thus, it became part of a whole, one can not see them as a separate sphere. In this perspective, the media coverage is used as a concept to describe the process of expansion of the different technical means and consider the interrelationships between the communicative change, means and sociocultural change. However, although many researchers use the concept of mediatization, each gives you the meaning that best suits your needs. Thus, the concept of media coverage is treated with multiple voices. This paper discusses this problem and present a preliminary pre-position on the matter.
[en] The major theoric-methodological challenge of a research that involves three complex dimensions as the f ield of com-munication, politics and the question of gender (female), is to f ind the link that makes the connection bet ween the dif ferent moments that represents the building of Roussef f as a candi-date. It is not about f it into categories of analyzed materials or in work plans pre-def ined. The purpose is to leave these materials speaking for themselves from that scene of poli-tics mediatization, in which we realize that politics is done through appeals and requests to mediatic f ield, such as live ambience of media coverage. The politics needs to approach to the mediatization to be recognized in the current scenario. That is, Dilma Roussef f is a body that activates circulation mediatic while receiving the investment of determinations of the production of the media universe ; [por] O desaf io teórico-metodológico de um trabalho que envolve três dimensões complexas como campo da comunicação, o campo político e a questão de gênero (feminino) é encontrar o f io condutor que faça a ligação entre os diferentes momen-tos que constituem a construção da candidata Dilma Rous-sef f. Não se trata de enquadrar materiais analisados em categorias prontas ou em planos de trabalhos pré-def inidos, mas de deixar que estes materiais falem por si a par tir desse cenário de midiatização da política, no qual percebemos que a política se faz mediante apelos e solicitações ao campo mi-diático, pois vive essa ambiência da midiatização. A política tem necessidade de fazer endereçamentos à midiatização para se fazer reconhecida no cenário atual.
