"Taking a wide selection of Greek funerary epigrams from the 6th to 4th centuries BC, this volume considers their historical and chronological contexts to draw out information about the society that created them. A thematic structure within a broader chronological framework provides a valuable lens on the epigrams, allowing readers to compare particular types across the time period. The focus is on epitaphs of individuals in the most significant stages of life, where gender differences are most marked: themes include untimely death, women and wives, friendship, piety and non-kin love. El presente artículo realiza una reflexión acerca de la importancia de la educación y cómo ha evolucionado a través de los tiempos en cuanto a las metodologías y enfoques en donde los padres de familia tiene gran responsabilidad también en el proceso educativo, además se expresa la importancia de enfrentar los desafíos y los retos del mundo contemporáneo frente a las pruebas internacionales y nacionales para medir los avances y dificultades en las distintas competencias que se evalúan, en donde la formación en aspectos científicos, axiológicos, lingüísticos y humanistas son indispensables para encaminar a los estudiantes a una educación integral. También se hace un análisis de como la pandemia por covid-19 afectó a nivel mundial el rendimiento académico y el desarrollo de las competencias de los estudiantes y la responsabilidad de las instituciones educativas para realizar planes de mejoramiento que contribuyan a fortalecer los procesos educativos. Se menciona como los maestros de esta época deben desarrollar en los estudiantes no solo procesos cognitivos, sino también competencias laborales, interpersonales, procedimentales y tecnológicas para que puedan enfrentar los retos de un mundo cada vez más globalizado. Se plantea de igual manera que los docentes se capaciten y aprovechen las Tecnologías de la información y la comunicación, como también la inteligencia artificial en las aulas de clases y puedan orientar a las generaciones en el uso adecuado de estas para adquirir un aprendizaje más significativo. También se hace hincapié en el verdadero rol de maestro como seres que inspiran a otros y en la formación desde la ética y la responsabilidad social.

The original significance of the public entry of a new archbishop into Tarragona lies in the fact that the city, through its confraternities, honoured one of its social elite with a popular celebration. Urban government was based upon two authorities: the king and the archbishop. In Tarragona, a city of deeply rooted customs and traditions, the entry ritual remained almost unchanged from medieval times to the modern era. Guild confraternities were active participants in urban ritual, with their dances, figures, and fantastic animals, and thus created a nexus of identity among the urban community as a whole. Detailed descriptions in municipal chronicles make it possible to study which confraternities existed in Tarragona, and in what ways they participated in the festive celebrations and were connected to the social network, as, for a brief moment, they enjoyed an activity far removed from the daily grind of work. The aim of this article is to observe how the ecosystem of guild confraternities in Tarragona varied little over time, how they always participated with the same dance and, as a result, how the soundscape of those dances became a characteristic soundmark of urban ceremony there.

Much controversy has always accompanied the application of the Biological Passport and with it, the misgivings of athletes, representatives of sports institutions and, of course, of operators and legal actors. The controversy that spread in the beginning from the very reliability of this tool to even its constitutional fit and its possible contradiction with fundamental rights of the athlete have been appeased over time, with the generalization of its use around the world and especially in countries that allocate more resources to public policies for the promotion, protection and development of sporting activity. In our country, however, there are still sometimes critical voices that are wary of the use of this means of proof, and in recent times and in relation to the new anti-doping legislation that will have to adapt our legal system to international standards, the need to legalize the procedures and protocols for the elaboration of the Athlete's Biological Passport has been questioned. Infanzones appear in written sources from tenth-century Northwestern Iberia as servants of the aristocracy, linked to their magnate patrons through ties of clientele and service. Recurring episodes of political instability in the 980s-1030s undermined traditional authority and customary social identities in the kingdom of Leon, which provided some opportunities for upward mobility. Infanzones took advantage of this chance for social ascent by redefining themselves as warriors and consolidating their position as local elites throughout the eleventh century, to the point of being finally recognized as a nobility of blood.

As an institution traditionally linked to the Catholic Church, the Spanish army customarily incorporated a number of priests, called military chaplains, responsible for providing religious services to service personnel. This changed, however, after the Republican regime became established and initiated a policy of secularization at all levels of Spanish society, including the army. This article takes the proclamation of the Second Spanish Republic as its starting point to analyse –in the context of religious history– the changes with respect to the role of the clergy that occurred in the army as a consequence of the secularizing policies of the first two years of the Republic. At the same time, it analyses the changes that affected the members of the Church who were obliged to serve in the military like every other young Spanish male. This subject has received only cursory attention from the different academic disciplines, and few references to it exist, whether in the areas of law or military studies. Within the field of religious history itself, while the figure of the military chaplain is featured in some studies, the chronological bookends are different. Official journals from both the government and army provide the information necessary to identify and track the different measures implemented and evaluate their consequences. Additionally, diocese bulletins, congressional records and press reports were critical sources of information for the preparation of this study. In the short term, the proclamation of the Second Republic signified the dissolution of the Spanish army's ecclesiastic corps, with priests becoming responsible for providing services to the various regiments who appeared in their parishes. Urban violence enters into, and creates interstices in both public and private life of Venezuelans and, as revealed by academic studies to the mass media, has made Caracas one of the most chaotic and unsafe cities in the world by the number of murders, robberies, and kidnappings, with latent cultural anxiety (Martin‑Barbero), in which the majority of its inhabitants lives. Hence that is drawn around an imaginary, in some cases established by their own players. In this paper, we will seek an approach to urban violence, emphasizing the dynamics of new forms of representation, and the emergence of alternative discourses of hegemony, which set up a fresh look on it.

The justification for the Social State Based on the Rule of Law is found in the nature of the agreement or contract in which the warranties of the citizens is expressed because they are part of the contract. That is why contractualism has been presented as the best way to solve all issues related to the social and political legitimation of a State. Based on the social reality of each individual, which is why material justice exists, the Social State based on the Rule of Law aims to protect the fundamental rights of the participants. Those elements are characteristics of the Colombian Social State based on the Rule of Law, which stands as a Welfare State and a Constitutional Democratic State.
