Das Fallbuch bearbeitet die Grundrechte des Grundgesetzes auf eine innovative Weise. Ein Team von Nachwuchswissenschaftler/-innen aus ganz Deutschland hat Grundlagenwissen für Studierende mit weiterführendem Wissen für Examenskandidat/-innen in praktischen Übungsfällen kombiniert. Abstraktes Hintergrundwissen lässt sich im frei zugänglichen Lehrbuch nachlesen. Die Themen der Fälle reichen von Klassikern bis zu hochaktuellen Sachverhalten. Eine Handreichung zur Klausurtaktik inklusive Prüfungsschema, Lösungsskizze und exemplarischer Ausarbeitung wird an einem Fall klausurnah demonstriert. Das Fallbuch enthält nur für die Klausurlösung absolut notwendige Ausführungen, ergänzt durch klausurtaktische Hinweise. Alle Kapitel lassen sich auf einer digitalen Plattform kommentieren.
