This report documents the substantive findings and management recommendations of an archeological survey conducted by Integrated Environmental Solutions, LLC (IES) for the Farm-to-Market Road (FM) 549 Improvements Project (CSJ 1015-01-024). The proposed project will expand and realign a portion of FM 549 southeast of the City of Rockwall, Rockwall County, Texas. As the project sponsor, the Texas Department of Transportation, is a political subdivision of the State of Texas, the proposed project will require coordination with the Texas Historical Commission (THC) prior to construction, per the provisions of the Antiquities Code of Texas (ACT). The goal of this survey was to identify and document any archeological sites that could be adversely affected by the proposed development, and to evaluate such resources for their potential eligibility for listing as a State Antiquities Landmark (SAL) or eligibility for listing in the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP). The archeological survey was conducted by Principal Investigator Christopher Goodmaster and Field Technicians Joshua McCormick, Will Maddux, and Toby Settle on 08 January 2019 under Texas Antiquities Permit No. 8504. All work conformed to 36 Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) 800 and 13 Texas Administrative Code (TAC) 26, which outline the regulations for implementing Section 106 of the NHPA and the ACT, respectively. No archeological resources were documented within the 35.28-acre Area of Potential Effects (APE) as a result of this survey. No artifacts were collected during this survey. All project records will be temporarily stored at the IES McKinney office and permanently curated at the Center for Archeological Research at The University of Texas at San Antonio. No additional archeological survey or evaluation is recommended within the APE as it is presently defined. However, if any archeological deposits or features are encountered during construction, the operators should stop construction activities in the vicinity of the inadvertent discovery and immediately contact the project cultural resources consultant to initiate coordination with TxDOT and the THC prior to resuming construction activities.

The proposed project pertains to a recreational park development within a 6.9-acre Area of Potential Effects (APE) located along Johnson Creek between East Randol Mill Road and Cowboys Way in the City of Arlington, Tarrant County, Texas. As the project will require compliance with a Section 404 of the Clean Water Act Nationwide Permit from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), portions of the project will be subjected to the provisions of the National Historic Preservation Act (NHPA) of 1966, as amended. Additionally, as the City of Arlington is a political subdivision of the State of Texas, the project is subject to the provisions of the Antiquities Code of Texas (ACT). The goal of this survey was to locate cultural resources that could be adversely affected by the proposed development, and to provide an evaluation of the eligibility potential of each identified resource for listing in the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP) or for designation as a State Antiquities Landmark (SAL). This cultural resources survey was conducted by Principal Investigator Christopher Goodmaster and Field Technician Josh McCormick on 05 February 2019. All work conformed to 13 Texas Administrative Code 26, which outlines the regulations for implementing the ACT, and was conducted under Antiquities Permit No. 8738. No archeological sites and no historic-age architectural resources were identified within the APE during this survey. No artifacts were collected as part of this survey. All project-related records and field data will be temporarily stored at the IES McKinney office and permanently curated at the Center for Archeological Research (CAR) at The University of Texas at San Antonio. No further cultural resources investigation or evaluation of the APE is recommended. The proposed project pertains to the construction of a 4.9-mile (9.6 acre) trail system within the Dallas Floodway from the Sylvan Avenue/Wycliff Avenue bridge to the Campion Trail within Trinity View Park. As the proposed project will be constructed within federal property regulated by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), the project is subject to the provisions of the National Historic Preservation Act of 1966 (NHPA), as amended. In addition, as the City of Dallas is a political subdivision of the State of Texas, the project must comply with the provisions of the Antiquities Code of Texas (ACT). The goal of this survey was to locate archeological resources that could be adversely affected by the proposed construction and to provide an evaluation of the eligibility potential of each identified resource for listing in the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP) or for designation as a State Antiquities Landmark (SAL). All work conformed to 13 Texas Administrative Code 26, which outlines the regulations for implementing the ACT, and was conducted under Antiquities Permit No. 8865. During the survey, no archeological resources were identified. No artifacts were collected as part of this survey. As the project will require compliance with Section 404 of the Clean Water Act through the use of a Nationwide Permit from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), portions of the project will be subjected to the provisions of the National Historic Preservation Act (NHPA) of 1966, as amended. Additionally, as the City of Fort Worth is a political subdivision of the State of Texas, the project is subject to the provisions of the Antiquities Code of Texas (ACT). The goal of this survey was to locate cultural resources that could be adversely affected by the proposed development, and to provide an evaluation of the eligibility potential of each identified resource for listing in the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP) or for designation as a State Antiquities Landmark (SAL). This cultural resources survey was conducted on 30 July 2019. All work conformed to 13 Texas Administrative Code 26, which outlines the regulations for implementing the ACT, and was conducted under Antiquities Permit No. 8972. During the survey, no cultural resources were encountered within the APE. No artifacts were collected as part of this survey. All project-related records and field data will be temporarily stored at the IES McKinney office and permanently curated at the Center for Archeological Research at The University of Texas at San Antonio. No further cultural resources investigation or evaluation of the APE is recommended. The goal of this survey was to locate cultural resources that could be adversely affected by the proposed project, and to provide an evaluation of the eligibility potential of each identified resource for listing in the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP) or for designation as a State Antiquities Landmark (SAL). This cultural resources survey was conducted by Principal Investigator Christopher Goodmaster, Project Archeologist Thomas Chapman, and Field Technician Josh McCormick on 28 and 31 January 2019. All work conformed to 13 Texas Administrative Code 26, which outlines the regulations for implementing the ACT, and was conducted under Antiquities Permit No. 8721. No artifacts were collected as part of this survey. All project-related records and field data will be temporarily stored at the IES McKinney office and permanently curated at the Center for Archeological Research (CAR) at The University of Texas at San Antonio. No further cultural resources investigation or evaluation of the APE is recommended. This report documents the substantive findings and management recommendations of a cultural resources survey conducted by Integrated Environmental Solutions, LLC (IES) for the Abilene Independent School District (ISD) Taylor Elementary School Project in the City of Abilene, Taylor County, Texas. The project area or Area of Potential Effects (APE) encompasses 14.96 acres (ac). As the Abilene ISD is a political subdivision of the State of Texas, it is required to comply with the Antiquities Code of Texas (ACT). The cultural resources survey was conducted on 17 April 2019 under Texas Antiquities Permit No. 8845. All work conformed to 13 Texas Administrative Code 26, which outline the regulations for implementing the ACT. The goal of this survey was to locate, identify, and document any cultural resources, which included architectural and archeological resources, that could be adversely affected by the proposed development and to evaluate such resources for their potential eligibility for designation as a State Antiquities Landmark or eligibility for inclusion in the National Register of Historic Places. These investigations consisted of a records review to identify previously conducted cultural resources surveys in the area and the known archeological and architectural resources recorded by those efforts, pedestrian reconnaissance of the project area, intensive archeological survey via systematic shovel test excavation, and archival research. No archeological resources were documented within the 14.96-ac APE as a result of this survey. Based on the results of this survey, no additional cultural resources survey efforts are recommended for the project area. It is the recommendation of IES that the State Historic Preservation Officer, represented by the Texas Historical Commission (THC), concur with these findings. However, if any cultural resources are encountered during construction, the operators should cease work immediately in that area and contact the project cultural resources consultant to initiate coordination with the THC prior to resuming any construction activities in the vicinity of the inadvertent discovery. No artifacts were collected during this survey. All field and project-related records will be temporarily stored at the IES McKinney office and permanently curated at the Center for Archaeological Research at The University of Texas at San Antonio.

This report documents the substantive findings and management recommendations of an archeological survey conducted by Integrated Environmental Solutions, LLC (IES) in preparation for an easement disposal by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Galveston District (SWG) within property owned by the Port of Victoria (POV), in Victoria County, Texas. An archeological survey was requested by the USACE as part of the overall National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) Categorical Exclusion documentation process, which subsequently required compliance with Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act (NHPA). Additionally, as the POV is a political subdivision of the State of Texas, the project is subject to the provisions of the Antiquities Code of Texas (ACT). Although no ground disturbing activities are included in this undertaking, the POV seeks to conduct coordination with the Texas Historical Commission (THC) for the easement disposal areas to facilitate future development of the property. To satisfy USACE-SWG and THC requirements for the easement disposal, IES conducted an archeological inventory of the easement disposal tracts. The proposed easement disposal tracts are located adjacent to the Pickering Basin near the northern terminus of the Victoria Barge Canal, in southern Victoria County, Texas. The project area or Area of Potential Effects (APE) encompasses the proposed easement disposal area, consisting of five tracts totaling 193.34 acres (ac). The goal of this survey was to locate archeological sites that could be adversely affected by the proposed and anticipated development, and to provide an evaluation of the eligibility potential of each identified resource for listing in the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP) or for designation as a State Antiquities Landmark (SAL). This survey was conducted between 09 and 13 September 2019. All work conformed to 36 Code of Federal Regulations 800.4 and 13 Texas Administrative Code 26, which outlines the regulations for implementing Section 106 of the NHPA and the ACT, respectively, and was conducted under Antiquities Permit No. 9048. During this survey, backhoe trenching was conducted within a 78-ac portion of the APE. Pedestrian transect survey and systematic shovel testing was conducted within a 12-ac portion of the APE. The remaining 103.34-ac portion of the APE has experienced extensive previous disturbance due to the construction, operation, and maintenance of the Victoria Barge Canal and its associated facilities. No archeological sites were encountered within the APE during this survey. No artifacts were collected during this survey. All project-related records will be temporarily stored at the IES McKinney office and permanently curated at the Museum of the Coastal Bend in Victoria, Texas. No further archeological investigation or evaluation of the APE is recommended. However, if any archeological resources are encountered during construction, the operators should stop construction activities, and immediately contact the project environmental representative to initiate coordination with the USACE-SWG Regulatory Archeologist and the THC prior to resuming any construction activities in the vicinity of the inadvertent discovery.

As the project will require a Section 404 of the Clean Water Act Nationwide Permit from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), portions of the project will be subjected to the provisions of the National Historic Preservation Act (NHPA) of 1966, as amended. Additionally, the City of Frisco is a political subdivision of the State of Texas. Therefore, the project is also subject to the provisions of the Antiquities Code of Texas (ACT). All work conformed to 13 Texas Administrative Code 26, which outlines the regulations for implementing the ACT, and was conducted under Antiquities Permit No. 8854. The goal of this survey was to locate, identify, and document any cultural resources, which included architectural and archeological resources, that could be adversely affected by the proposed development and to evaluate such resources for their potential eligibility for designation as a State Antiquities Landmark (SAL) or eligibility for inclusion in the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP). These investigations consisted of a records review to identify previously conducted cultural resources surveys in the area and the known archeological and architectural resources recorded by those efforts, visual reconnaissance of the project area, and subsurface investigations via systematic shovel test excavation. During the survey, no cultural resources were documented within the 4.8-ac APE. Based on the results of this survey, no additional evaluation or mitigation is warranted for the project area. It is the recommendation of IES that the State Historic Preservation Officer (SHPO), represented by the Texas Historical Commission (THC), concur with these findings. However, if any cultural resources are encountered during construction, the operators should cease work immediately in that area and contact the project cultural resources consultant to initiate coordination with the THC and USACE prior to resuming any construction activities in the vicinity of the inadvertent discovery. No artifacts were collected during this survey. All field and project-related records will be temporarily stored at the IES McKinney office and permanently curated at the Center for Archaeological Research at The University of Texas at San Antonio.

The goal of this survey was to locate, identify, and document any cultural resources, which included architectural and archeological resources, that could be adversely affected by the proposed development, and to provide an evaluation of the eligibility potential of each identified resource for listing in the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP) or for designation as a State Antiquities Landmark (SAL). This cultural resources survey was conducted on 01 August 2019. All work conformed to 13 Texas Administrative Code 26, which outlines the regulations for implementing the ACT, and was conducted under Antiquities Permit No. 8993. During the survey, no cultural resources were documented within the 14-ac APE. No artifacts were collected during this survey. All field and project-related records will be temporarily stored at the IES McKinney office and permanently curated at the Center for Archaeological Research at The University of Texas at San Antonio. Based on the results of this survey, no additional cultural resources investigations or evaluation of the APE is recommended. As the project will require compliance with a Section 404 of the Clean Water Act through the use of a Nationwide Permit from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), portions of the project will be subjected to the provisions of the National Historic Preservation Act (NHPA) of 1966, as amended. Additionally, as the City of Richardson is a political subdivision of the State of Texas, the project is subject to the provisions of the Antiquities Code of Texas (ACT). The goal of this survey was to locate cultural resources that could be adversely affected by the proposed development, and to provide an evaluation of the eligibility potential of each identified resource for listing in the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP) or for designation as a State Antiquities Landmark (SAL). This cultural resources survey was conducted by Project Archeologist Anne Gibson and Archeological Field Technician Trey Lyon on 21 May 2019. All work conformed to 13 Texas Administrative Code 26, which outlines the regulations for implementing the ACT, and was conducted under Antiquities Permit No. 8911. During the survey, no cultural resources were encountered within the APE. No artifacts were collected as part of this survey. This report documents the substantive findings and management recommendations of a cultural resources survey conducted by Integrated Environmental Solutions, LLC (IES) for the Prosper High School #2 Project in the Town of Prosper, Collin County, Texas. The direct APE encompasses approximately 129 acres (ac) and was comprised of a 100- ac proposed school site fronting Coit Road with an associated 2.1-mile (mi; 29-ac) sanitary sewer pipeline corridor that extends west, along Parvin Branch from the proposed school location to Preston Road (State Highway [SH] 289). As the Town of Prosper is a political subdivision of the State of Texas, it is required to comply with the Antiquities Code of Texas (ACT). In addition, as the project will require a Section 404 of the Clean Water Act (CWA) Individual Permit (IP) from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), portions of the project are subject to the provisions of the National Historic Preservation Act (NHPA) of 1966, as amended. All work conformed to 36 Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) Part 800, and 13 Texas Administrative Code (TAC) 26, which outline the regulations for implementing Section 106 of the NHPA and the ACT, respectively. The goal of this survey was to locate, identify, and document any cultural resources, which included architectural and archeological resources, that could be adversely affected by the proposed development and to evaluate such resources for their potential eligibility for designation as a State Antiquities Landmark (SAL) or eligibility for inclusion in the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP). These investigations consisted of a records review to identify previously conducted cultural resources surveys in the area and the known archeological and architectural resources recorded by those efforts, visual reconnaissance of the project area, subsurface investigations via systematic shovel test excavation, and archival research. The cultural resources survey was conducted by archeologists Anne Gibson, Pat Donahue, and Christopher Goodmaster on 10 January and 01 February 2018, under Texas Antiquities Permit No. 8266. Although three historic-period archeological sites (41COL305, 41COL310, and 41COL311) and two architectural resources were documented during the field survey, based on each site's lack of association with a significant historical event(s) or person(s) and low potential to yield significant archeological data, the sites are deemed not eligible for inclusion in the NRHP or designation as SALs. Based on the results of this survey, no additional evaluation or mitigation is warranted for the identified cultural resources. It is the recommendation of IES that the State Historic Preservation Officer (SHPO), represented by the Texas Historical Commission (THC) concur with these findings. However, if any cultural resources (other than those documented within this report) are encountered during construction, the operators should cease work immediately in that area and contact the project environmental representative to initiate coordination with the THC prior to resuming any construction activities. No artifacts were collected during this survey. All field and project-related records will be temporarily curated at the IES McKinney office and permanently curated at the Texas Archeological Research Laboratory (TARL).

In addition, as the project will require a Section 404 of the Clean Water Act (CWA) Nationwide Permit (NWP) from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), portions of the project are subject to the provisions of the National Historic Preservation Act (NHPA) of 1966, as amended. All work conformed to 36 Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) Part 800, and 13 Texas Administrative Code (TAC) 26, which outline the regulations for implementing Section 106 of the NHPA and the ACT, respectively. The goal of the survey was to locate, identify, and assess any cultural resources, which include standing historic-age buildings/structures and archeological sites that could be adversely affected by the proposed development, and to evaluate such resources for their potential eligibility for listing as a State Antiquities Landmark (SAL) or eligibility for listing in the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP). The cultural resources survey was conducted by Project Archeologist Thomas Chapman and Staff Archeologist Alexandra Younger on 08 May 2018 under Texas Antiquities Permit No. 8398. The Area of Potential Effects (APE), located at the intersection of Eden Road and Curry Road, encompasses approximately 24.7 acres. During the IES survey, no archeological sites were documented within the APE. No further work is warranted. However, if any cultural resources, other than those documented within this report, are encountered during construction, the operators should stop construction activities and immediately contact the project environmental representative to initiate coordination with the USACE and THC prior to resuming any construction activities.
