AbstractIn this paper, a descriptive spatial analysis is carried out by identifying the geographical localisations of various industry sectors that generate freight movements at a regional level in India. The district‐level data are used to identify "industry complexes" from 21 industry sectors using the Getis‐Ord Gi* statistic. Mumbai, Thane, Pune, Raigad, and Ahmednagar of Maharashtra state emerged as complexes for most industry clusters. Findings showed that metropolitan characteristics and availability of raw materials play an essential role in districts emerging as complexes. The location of freight terminals, such as seaports, is one of the major governing factors in distributing logistics and transportation activities. Most of the districts have better transport infrastructure and logistics activities inside the complexes compared to non‐complex areas. However, a need to improve transport infrastructure and logistics in the complexes of non‐metallic mineral products and coke and refined petroleum products is found. The study can help policymakers understand the areas that need improvement, investments, and complex‐based economic development strategies.

In this paper, we describe the structure and the methodologies incorporated with implementation and development of socio-technical collaborative security support system considering it as a life critical system. The first section provides a brief introduction followed by the section for problem statement and factors of LCS. We have also discussed about the methodologies used to implement the system. Moreover, we have also explained the comparison with currently used tools along with recommendation for the future work. Safety and Security of a citizen is always a field of interest in current day's digital revolution, innovation and inventions. With collaborative work environment and real time information sharing, we can generate situation awareness, whereas without it, it becomes really difficult to reduce the response time of the security personals as they will have lack of reliable information and on the other hand the city structure and traffic structure is very unpredictable. This problem lay down government officials in the situation where they really want to reduce the response time but they do not have means to do it.

Current research is paying much attention to heterojunction nanostructures. Owing to its versatile characteristics such as stimulating morphology, affluent surface-oxygen-vacancies and chemical compositions for enhanced generation of reactive oxygen species. Herein, we report the hydrothermally synthesized TiO2@MoS2 heterojunction nanostructure for the effective production of photoinduced charge carriers to enhance the photocatalytic capability. XRD analysis illustrated the crystalline size of CTAB capped TiO2, MoS2@TiO2 and L-Cysteine capped MoS2@TiO2 as 12.6, 11.7 and 10.2 nm, respectively. The bandgap of the samples analyzed by UV–Visible spectroscopy are 3.57, 3.66 and 3.94 eV. PL spectra of anatase phase titania shows the peaks present at and above 400 nm are ascribed to the defects in the crystalline structure in the form of oxygen vacancies. HRTEM reveals the existence of hexagonal layered MoS2 formation on the spherical shaped TiO2 nanoparticles at the interface. X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy recommends the chemical interactions between MoS2 and TiO2, specifically, oxygen vacancies. In addition, the electrochemical impedance spectroscopy studies observed that L-MT sample performed low charge transfer resistance (336.7 Ω cm2) that promotes the migration of electrons and interfacial charge separation. The photocatalytic performance is evaluated by quantifying the rate of Congo red dye degradation under visible light irradiation, and the decomposition efficiency was found to be 97%. The electron trapping recombination and plausible photocatalytic mechanism are also explored, and the reported work could be an excellent complement for industrial wastewater treatment. © 2020, The Author(s). ; The authors (Dr. G. Background: Military personnel in enclosed societies are at increased risk of respiratory infections. We investigated an outbreak of Coronavirus Disease 2019 in a London Army barracks early in the pandemic. Methods: Army personnel, their families and civilians had nasal and throat swabs for Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) by reverse transcriptase -polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR), virus isolation and whole genome sequencing, along with blood samples for SARS-CoV-2 antibodies. All tests were repeated 36 days later. Findings: During the first visit, 304 (254 Army personnel, 10 family members, 36 civilians, 4 not stated) participated and 24/304 (8%) were SARS-CoV-2 RT-PCR positive. Infectious virus was isolated from 7/24 (29%). Of the 285 who provided a blood sample, 7% (19/285) were antibody positive and 63% (12/19) had neutralising antibodies. Twenty-two (22/34, 64%) individuals with laboratory-confirmed infection were asymptomatic. Nine SARS-CoV-2 RT-PCR positive participants were also antibody positive but those who had neutralising antibodies did not have infectious virus. At the second visit, no new infections were detected, and 13% (25/193) were seropositive, including 52% (13/25) with neutralising antibodies. Risk factors for SARS-CoV-2 antibody positivity included contact with a confirmed case (RR 25.2; 95% CI 14-45), being female (RR 2.5; 95% CI 1.0-6.0) and two-person shared bathroom (RR 2.6; 95% CI 1.1-6.4). Interpretation: We identified high rates of asymptomatic SARS-CoV-2 infection. Public Health control measures can mitigate spread but virus re-introduction from asymptomatic individuals remains a risk. Most seropositive individuals had neutralising antibodies and infectious virus was not recovered from anyone with neutralising antibodies. Funding: PHE.

Background: The association between herpes simplex virus type 2 (HSV-2) and human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) and the development of HSV vaccines have increased interest in the study of HSV epidemiology.Objectives: To estimate the age and sex specific seroprevalence of HSV-1 and HSV-2 infections in selected populations in Brazil, Estonia, India, Morocco, and Sri Lanka.Methods: Serum samples were collected from various populations including children, antenatal clinic attenders, blood donors, hospital inpatients, and HIV sentinel surveillance groups. STD clinic attenders were enrolled in Sri Lanka, male military personnel in Morocco. Sera were tested using a common algorithm by type specific HSV-1 and HSV-2 antibody assay.Results: 13 986 samples were tested, 45.0% from adult females, 32.7% from adult males, and 22.3% from children. The prevalence of HSV-1 varied by site ranging from 78.5%-93.6% in adult males and from 75.5%-97.8% in adult females. In all countries HSV-1 seroprevalence increased significantly with age (p<0.001) in both men and women. The prevalence of HSV-2 infection varied between sites. Brazil had the highest age specific rates of infection for both men and women, followed by Sri Lanka for men and Estonia for women, the lowest rates being found in Estonia for men and India for women. In all countries, HSV-2 seroprevalence increased significantly with age (p<0.01) and adult females had higher rates of infection than adult males by age of infection.Conclusions: HSV-1 and HSV-2 seroprevalence was consistently higher in women than men, particularly for HSV-2. Population based data on HSV-1 and HSV-2 will be useful for designing potential HSV-2 vaccination strategies and for focusing prevention efforts for HSV-1 and HSV-2 infection.
