For the purposes of research, the degree of internationalization of business has been divided into two periods – the first covers the seven years before Bulgaria's accession to the EU, and the second period spans almost ten years after the signing of the membership agreement. А system of indicators, which are related to the production of tourist services, their export and the transfer of foreign investments, has been created in order to determine the degree of internationalization of the Bulgarian tourism business. The processes of business internationalization are considered from both a structural and a dynamic point of view, comparing the two periods. Emphasis is placed on the problems and difficulties in the business, as well as on the achievements and traditions in this field.

Through retrospective analysis, a methodological construction is developed which provides a basis for analysing the factors and for monitoring the current process of international industrial specialization in the photovoltaic business sector. In this regard, its market and non-market incentives are observed with the aim of deriving competitive advantages from the international trade in photovoltaic systems.

The study of large urban centers as tourist destinations is done from different perspectives. Their analysis is important since they are carriers of important features for selecting the destination and its attractiveness. These arguments form the basis for defining the concept of "urban tourist destination" and define approaches that are relevant to the formation of conceptual and practical models to measure its attractiveness. The paper examines the different methods of measuring the attractiveness of the urban tourist destination. An emphasis is placed on research methodology based on the Global Power Index. An overview of the results of the application of this method is made and the ranking of the ten most attractive urban tourist destinations in the world for the period 2014-2016 is analyzed.

Climate change is a challenge to the socio-economic development of all humanity, requiring a global effort to address the issues at stake. Awareness of these ideas underpins the agreements reached at the 21st session of the Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change. Alongside the agreed mechanisms and means to comply with binding decisions, governments are using and implementing a rich arsenal of means and mechanisms based on international trade and investment to contribute to substantial greenhouse gas reductions. In this regard, the interplay between the development of environmentally sound business activities based on new technologies and standards, and the operation of trade and investment measures through which solutions are generated within the framework of international trade in goods is explored. A general picture of atmospheric pollution is presented. A retrospective analysis is made, describing the efforts made to curb the negative effects in previous conferences.
