The article is aimed at developing a systematic understanding of trust as an object of management when waging cognitive wars. The study is based on the hypothesis that with the growing complexity of identifying the truth of information against the backdrop of exponential growth in its volume, as well as the complexity of information technology, the most adequate countermeasure may be the trust of subjects of information interaction. The presence of such a hypothesis dictates the need to consider the phenomenon of trust as an object of management, as well as existing and promising mechanisms of influence on trust. The article structures the main factors influencing the formation of social trust and systematizes the idea of the types of objects of influence when waging a hybrid war. Based on the analysis of the results of research into the phenomenon of trust and the factors influencing it, a structural diagram of information management of trust is presented, where social trust is shown as the object of management, and informational and cultural aspects of the formation of trust are selected as regulating elements. The article also identifies groups of goals, objects and groups of indicators of negative information impact on trust factors, and proposes approaches to identifying the presence of such impact. The example shows that modern information technologies are an effective tool for influencing the level of trust between people, due to the intensive impact on the cognitive sphere of a person.

The Maghreb countries occupy a special place in theoretical and legal courses. Their legal procedures and institutions were influenced by various factors. Currently, North African legal systems are a combination of French positive law, local customs and Islamic law. However, the process of the formation of the legal institutions of the Maghreb took a long time; it was influenced by both subjective political factors and the customary law of the Berber tribes. The purpose of this study is to establish the legal status of judges in litigation in the medieval Maghreb. The main source for studying the judicial process of the medieval Maghreb are the texts of fatwas compiled by educated jurists of the 14th – 15th centuries. Therefore, when studying the problem, the authors of the article used the method of analysing the legal text in combination with the principle of historicism. The main result of the study was the conclusion that the powers, including judicial, of the qadi in regions remote from the centre of the state were replaced by the powers of other officials, often acting on the basis of Berber customary law. When there was a conflict between the norms of Islamic law and local customs, the court more often made a decision based on the norms of customary law.

The article presents an analysis of sources of legal regulation at various levels on anti-corruption issues in certain countries of the Hanseatic League of Modern times. The purpose of the analysis is to compare approaches to the legal regulation of this sphere of public relations and to study the experience of implementing in practice long-term relationships between territorial communities of local self-government in some countries of the Hanseatic League of Modern times. The issues of positive centuries-old interaction of the Association of Hanseatic cities in the context of the development of interstate anti-corruption institutions are updated. The article examines the features of legal regulation of the anti-corruption framework in Germany, the Netherlands and the Russian Federation. Conclusions are drawn about the general features in the approaches to legal regulation of anti-corruption in the above-mentioned states. The authors draw attention to the consistent policy of states to reduce the level of corruption in these states.

The work is a review of a monograph on the legality of decision-making in operational-search activities, published in 2019 in Kostroma, at Kostroma State University.

The article analyses the events taking place in Donbass from 2014 to 2019, to be exact, the very fact of the appearance of the peoples' republics of Lugansk and Donetsk, the way in which these republics appeared and the way of their possible international legalisation. The study was carried out not only at Russian, but also at the international level. The authors' vision of solving the problem is proposed, in particular, the idea is that the implementation of the fundamental (universal) principle of modern international law – the principle of universal respect for human rights and freedoms in conditions of the Ukraine military operation affecting the citizens of the republics in the sphere of influence of Russia – is impossible without implementing the principle of self-determination of peoples and nations. Only with such concrete conflict binding, the principle of self-determination of peoples and nations can predominate over the principles of territorial integrity and inviolability of borders.

The article is devoted to the burning problem that arose in 2014 in the Ukraine, in the regions of Lugansk and Donetsk, and that concerns the right of the people of Donbass to self-determination. This problem is not only of a local territorial nature, but it is also one of the most complex debatable problems of international law. Since the right to self-determination contradicts the principle of territorial integrity of the state, the consideration and solution of this issue is the most burning for the whole population living on the territory of the self-proclaimed people's republics of Lugansk and Donetsk. In the article, the authors analyse the concept of "self-determination of the people" and give a generalised characteristic of it, approving that it is the right of every nation to solve the issues of state structure, political status, economic, social and cultural development independently and at its own discretion. The author also examines the historical past of the people of Donbass, where, in terms of the Republic of Donetsk and Krivoy Rog and various documentary historical and legal materials, we come to the conclusion that the population of Donbass has the right to social, economic, cultural, spiritual and other development just as all the recognised countries of the world.

The article deals with the problem that arose in the collision of globalisation processes in economics, finance, politics and traditional social institutions, primarily the family. The authors come to the conclusion that the issue of preserving traditional family values, which are the basis and condition for existence and successful development for all peoples living in Russia, acquires a special role. The greatest public resonance is the issue of traditional and "non-traditional" concepts of the family, which actualises the problem of legal protection of traditional family values in Russia. The 2020 constitutional amendments are analysed.

In the modern world, there is a tendency to digitalise all spheres of society; this process has also affected the supervisory activities of the prosecutor's office. Due to the specifics of the intradepartmental structure, the first attempts to digitalise its activities to some extent were made by the Volga Interregional Environmental Prosecutor's Office, created according to the basin principle. With time, the experience of this prosecutor's office was the basis for the widespread digital transformation of the prosecutor's office. The article reveals the content of the concept of digital transformation of the prosecutor's office, the current state of affairs in this area; it provides foreign experience of prosecutors, highlights the advantages and disadvantages in the work of Russian system of digitalisation of the prosecutor's office; we make suggestions. The authors concluded that, despite the complexity of the digitalisation process of the prosecutor's office, automated programmes, electronic document management, the introduction of artificial intelligence capabilities into the work, would only increase the speed, quality, accuracy, work, raise the level of law enforcement agencies to a completely different level with undoubted contribution to strengthening the rule of law and order in Russia.
