A report on two major Saudi Arabian mining projects, which are due to begin production within three years and of which one is said to be the site of the legendary King Solomon's mines. Total ore reserves are estimated at 7.486.023 tonnes and they contain copper, zinc, gold and silver. Commercial quantities of gold are expected to be produced by late 1987. (DÜI-Asd)
