Auskunftsrechte und Weitergabepflichten von Umweltinformationen für Bürger*innen, NGOs und BehördenDieses Handbuch trägt zur Verbesserung des Informationsflusses zwischen Bürgerinnen und Bürgern, NGOs und Behörden bei, indem es über die Reichweite des Rechts auf Umweltinformation sowie die Möglichkeit der Weitergabe aufklärt. Es beinhaltet die Darstellung facheinschlägiger Normen, die Aufarbeitung der Judikatur hinsichtlich des Umweltinformationsrechts und dessen Schranken. Das erleichtert zum einen besonders informationspflichtigen Stellen den Umgang mit Anfragen bezüglich Information und Weitergabe und fördert die Veröffentlichung umweltrelevanter Information. Zum anderen erfahren Bürger*innen und NGOs, wie sie tatsächlich ihre Auskunftsrechte wahrnehmen können und welche Rechtsschutzmöglichkeiten bei Verweigerungen bestehen.
