This book argues that groundwater pollution risk assessment is the essential foundation of groundwater pollution prevention and control. It is on this basis that economic leverage is used to make new breakthroughs in groundwater protection and governance. Presenting a case study on the Jilin Section of the Songhua River, the book applies the overlay index method to assess the shallow groundwater pollution risk and identify high-risk areas and major pollution sources in an effort to identify the mechanism of interaction between industrial structures and groundwater pollution. Further, it proposes concrete measures for preventing and controlling groundwater pollution from an industrial economics perspective. As such, the book offers a valuable resource for all graduate students, lecturers and researchers who are interested in learning about resources and environmental economics

The need of municipal infrastructure is challenging China faced with the urbanization movements. Infrastructure is fixed to the ground so that the function and participation of the local government is of more importance than for any other kinds of investment, in order to avoid the political risks. Municipal bond is best choice even if in China, considering PPP schemes, which means the existing fiscal budget act has to be adjusted. Private investment, as well as the local government bonds, could be compensated with users charges. For infrastructure, the problem is the capital cost instead of the capital resource.

Premier Li Keqiang's work on pandemic prevention and control has given the "stall market economy" a new lease of life. Environmental pollution, traffic congestion, tax consequences, quality defects and other concerns have been criticized despite the "stall market economy's" acclaim, significantly restricting its healthy development. We used a literature search method for this paper's analysis that starts with the challenges of developing a "s tall market economy," gathers and analyses the relevant research, and then makes recommendations on how to improve "stall market economy" management through transformation and application. This paper argues that the government should rationally quantify the assessment indicators of "stall market economy," optimize the market access threshold, adopt multi department linkage supervision and other means to standardize industry management and ensure the healthy and orderly growth of "stall market ec onomy."
