The purpose of the article is to study the typology of leadership in a disruption era such as pandemic COVID 19. A leader in the disruption era's main challenge is a VUCA (Volatility, Uncertainty, Complexity, and Ambiguity) situation. While the remaining discussion at leadership issues in the disruption era. The research method used in this research is descriptive analysis with a deductive pattern. The method used in this research is library research. Data is taken from various scientific writing sources such as books, journals, online media reports, and official government websites. This research shows that spirituality and religiosity are then showing an essential role of leadership in the disruption era. Even though there is a critical analysis of religiosity leadership, Islamic Leadership has demonstrated a solution for a leader in facing disruption.
Background: All this time the issues of poverty were measured by narrow scope indicator so that the strategic of poverty reduction was narrow too. Objectives: this research want to describe the poverty multidimensionally at District of Pasuruan East Java Indonesia, by performing survey to 24 villages from 24 sub districts. The aims of this research are give the description about poverty issues at Pasuruan District, and give recommendations to local government about the strategic of its reduction. Result: poverty dimensions that were used in this research are education, health, life quality and infrastructure. Poverty issues can not be seen only from revenue rate, but also multidimesionally. Overall, from 24 villages, we can see that basic services rate was still very low, including infrastructure especially road and health and education services. Conclusion: poverty village at Pasuruan district have description like low education and skill rate, infrastructure especially road and land irrigation. As for the strategic was prioritized to basic services, guarantee and social aid. Therefore, it is required integrative effort between government and society figure. LSM and business world in the Pasuruan District.
This research departs from the existing academic anxiety, namely photographing how the role of Islamic boarding schools, in this case Al-Muayyad as a religious education institution and agent of social change in linking between Islamic understanding and Indonesianness. In addition, this paper tries to read the pattern of shifting the narrative of the nationality of Al-Muayyad from pre-independence to post-independence Indonesia based on Islamic values developed. This study uses descriptive qualitative methods, intended to describe the data obtained from observations. The analysis uses cohesion interpretation with the verstehen method, namely the interpretations sought can explain the sociological symptoms observed in accordance with the meanings given by the observed object. Data collection uses observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study show that Al-Muayyad as the sālafīyāh pesantren which places Islam as mābdā 'al-hāyāh thus gives birth to Islamic character which is tāwāsüth (moderate) and inclusive. Aswaja as mānhāj al-fīkr provides a frame in the creation of Islam that respects local traditions, pluralism, multiculturalism, tolerance, democracy and other humanism values in accordance with the concept of māqāshīd al-syarī'ah which includes five basic human rights (al-küllīyāt al-khāms). Al-Muayyad as a sub-culture of society that has its own uniqueness in the next aspects of value, such as the way of life adopted, the outlook on life, the values followed, and its own internal power hierarchy that is fully adhered to. As a religious education institution and agent of social change, Al-Muayyad places moderate Islamic values and locality as a medium to build a society that is peaceful, tolerant, and appreciates the diversity that exists. In affirming national identity, Al-Muayyad is based on a dynamic Islamic understanding as a form of "Islam Nusantara", Islam that is distinctive in Indonesian-nuanced taste by promoting pluralist, populist, and national-minded values.
This study examines the role of Leadership style and Organizational culture in predicting employee Performance. The aim of the research is: 1) to know the direct effect of Democratic Leadership on employee Performance, 2) to know the direct effect of Democratic Leadership on organizational culture, 3) to know the direct effect of Organizational culture on employee Performance, 4) to test the role of Organizational culture as mediation the effect of Democratic Leadership on employee Performance. The respondents were all employees at the Education Office East Java. The sampling method was used to collect data from 106 employees at the Education Office East Java, Indonesia, using surveys and questionnaires. The data obtained were analyzed using the Path Analysis with SPSS statistical software. The study had four findings. Firstly, Democratic Leadership has a significant effect on employee Performance. Secondly, Democratic Leadership also has a significant effect on Organizational culture. Thirdly, Organizational culture has a significant effect on employee performance. Fourthly, organizational culture mediates the effect of Democratic Leadership on employee Performance. Furthermore, the direct effect of Leadership style and the mediation role contribute to knowledge. The results showed that implementing Democratic Leadership supported by a conducive organizational culture guides employee to perform better.
